Maypearl: Proposed program is higher than previous program and relevant to current employment. Applicant has full scholarship from a Canadian institution or a sponsor that is related to applicant and can afford the cost of program. Applicant have a good paying job in Nigeria that is relevant to last and proposed degree. These are just my personal opinions. |

Jangolistic: This Iom again. Same way the Nurse said his parents has Hepatitis. I told them I don't, I was literally begging this people. They refused to send my result. They did the test, that one is more days again. They didn't even call me until I went there, the test came out negative. Though the radiography department is in Nairobi. I will rather say you should go to Qlife to do your test again. Please forget all you've paid iom. |

Hello everyone, I’m really confused right now. I applied for permanent residence dec 2018 refusal came late December 2019. Then I was asked to write to appeal within 30 days. Since 2019 December I’ve replied no date for appeal yet, no word from cic. I used a lawyer and all he’s saying is wait, wait. My portal is remained as it was since 2019. Is there anyway I can track this application ? Also is it possible to apply study permit while the permanent resident application still on ? |

Hello Anmama Her not having her business registered isnt really a problem , but I wanna assume she issues receipts or invoices to her customers on every sales or transactions made, cos you really need to convince the Visa officer that your sponsor makes steady income to be able to sponsor you.. Its not about saying she makes 3million every month, do you have documents to back it up? Submitting her personal account is not also a problem, but when the Visa officer sees in the account that their is an inflow of not less than 3 Million every month, they will like to know the source of such income, reason for submitting documents to back up your claims.. But I will advise, since your mum makes such amount every month, she should register her business not just for Visa reasons but for other reasons... Peace Anmama: 1 Like |

Hello victoria This actually depends on you though.. If you end up choosing the course for May, you will have to inform IRCC of the change in course, cos IRCC communicates with schools to know the status of every international student in every Canadian institution, just to confirm if such student is actually studying in Canada, they may wanna confirm the course too.. So to be on a safe side, if you eventually change your course, make sure you inform IRCC, so you wont also have issues at the POE.. If your proposed course is very important to you, I will advise you wait till September when it will be available, as your Visa will be valid for a year.. During the period of your wait, you can save up more funds, adequately prepare for your departure and so on... But at the end the decision is yours to be made.. Peace Victoriaweb: |

Jangolistic: I think I experienced the same thing, but I think the issue is from you. I don’t know how to explain it to you but let me try. So I had the same issue, and was told to come for sputum test by IOM, which I did. When I finished sputum test, few days later, I got a mail from IRCC to go for an extra test, so I assumed this was the same test IOM told me to do, which I’ve already done so I ignored the mail. Fast forward to 10 weeks later, well it was a little bit more, result was out, and I was negative. This time I got a call from IOM to come run another test, according to them, it was from IRCC, so I quickly went and did my test, after that, they called me the second day to come and run another, this time they wanted the X-ray of my side, I did that also and I asked if I will be needing another one after that and they said “no more” so I left … Few days later I got a mail from IRCC that I need an extra test, so I assumed again that this mail is just coming late and it’s the same test I already did, and that was it .. I have my medical updates to passed this January. I think you should ignore the IRCC messages you get for test, only focus on what IOM told you. This is just from my one experience o |

Hi FAVANA, I think that is a generic response. November applicant too, I've received same email a couple. Since your eligibility review has been updated on your portal, I think you should continue with the mail and webform to get their attention back to your application and take a decision on it as soon as possible. Wish you success FAVANA: |
