November applicant too, 10th and eligibility started on the 20th of January, 2022. Yet to hear from them, patiently waiting as I do not want to disturb them yet.

Hi FAVANA,

I think that is a generic response. November applicant too, I've received same email a couple. Since your eligibility review has been updated on your portal, I think you should continue with the mail and webform to get their attention back to your application and take a decision on it as soon as possible.
Wish you success

Hi everyone, my application was approved last week, contacted my school and I was told I can’t join in on the January session, that’s to wait till September, My school suggested they have a course related to my course opened for May session. My school said as long as I am not changing DLI that it’s okay to change course. My concern is will it be a problem at the point of entry?

Hello Anmama

Her not having her business registered isnt really a problem , but I wanna assume she issues receipts or invoices to her customers on every sales or transactions made, cos you really need to convince the Visa officer that your sponsor makes steady income to be able to sponsor you.. Its not about saying she makes 3million every month, do you have documents to back it up?

Submitting her personal account is not also a problem, but when the Visa officer sees in the account that their is an inflow of not less than 3 Million every month, they will like to know the source of such income, reason for submitting documents to back up your claims..

But I will advise, since your mum makes such amount every month, she should register her business not just for Visa reasons but for other reasons...

Peace
Thank very much....I now understand better

Okay Bro Thanks I appreciate your input. I heard some people talking about mpower financing. Do you know anything about that?

Pay part or deposit..

They need to see you have paid something. Student loan might not be convincing enough.

sorry, i dont

Google can get you this,...but is your work experience related to your bsc

Lookout for colleges, check their fees
Ensure you familiarize yourself with the schools refund policy before you pay the tuition.

Hmmmm. You might be asked for an enrollment letter at the airport in Nigeria even. What was your initial plan for tuition when applying for the visa. Although I don't know about any loan, it is important to have paid your tuition (or deposit) or have proof that you have it at the point of entry
Holarjoseph:
Please guys it's urgent do not skip this post

I've already gotten my study permit approved but the problem now is that I haven't payed for tuition and I heard I might be questioned by CBSA. Abeg how and is it possible to get student loan from here nigeria?

Thanks in advance

Hello victoria

This actually depends on you though.. If you end up choosing the course for May, you will have to inform IRCC of the change in course, cos IRCC communicates with schools to know the status of every international student in every Canadian institution, just to confirm if such student is actually studying in Canada, they may wanna confirm the course too.. So to be on a safe side, if you eventually change your course, make sure you inform IRCC, so you wont also have issues at the POE..

If your proposed course is very important to you, I will advise you wait till September when it will be available, as your Visa will be valid for a year.. During the period of your wait, you can save up more funds, adequately prepare for your departure and so on...

But at the end the decision is yours to be made..

Peace

Thank you so muchhh.
