My problem is that we must respect other peoples opinion but not hurling insults anyhow. I can never change ID because of what ? Nobody is destroying our state here but few of us are here insulting . I just want to enjoy this thread with the updates Likes of ,ANMEDIA ,INVESMENTNOW and few other great guys because most of us get to know what is happening in our State through this thread . I never defend any organisation so you must get your facts right. Sistergal80: 3 Likes |

Anambrarians, once again our airport was referenced in this Bayelsa Airport's article. Here's an excerpt... "Kpodoh said the Anambra State Airport constructed with about N10bn was more commercially viable than the Bayelsa Airport as it recently recorded 142 flights and 3865 passengers in one month". http://daybreak.ng/2022/01/24/bayelsa-airport-good-example-of-unplanned-development-says-kpodoh/ We moveeee! 8 Likes 1 Share |

This is the kind of ediots we keep talking about. Just look at the moniker sef. Threatening our son. Posts like this are what we see online these days. Umahi rejected and cursed the group called Ipob as well as said Ebonyi is not and will not be a part of Biafra...they didn’t threaten him. Now look at this fool and so many other fools...this is why Ipob group will forever remain evil in the eyes of so many. Ediots will always want to use Anambra to test their stupidity. Breaking News... NCAA Upgrades Anambra Airport to CAT 6, Approves Operation of Boeing 737-700 or its Equivalent. The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA has upgraded the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri to aerodrome rescue and fire fighting, ARFF category 6, to operate Boeing 737-700 or its equivalent. The approval was transmitted to the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano through a letter signed by the Director-General of NCAA, Captain Musa Nuhu. The NCAA approved the upgrade after assessing facilities and personnel at the fire station in the airport and finding them "appropriate and commensurate with aerodrome rescue and fire fighting category 6 operation". The upgrade reflects Gov Obiano’s determination towards ensuring that the Anambra airport functions at full capacity to offer ndi Anambra the best services. #Obianofinishingstrong 15 Likes

ANSMEDIA: Fantabulous!!! Soon all the restrictions on aircraft type will be removed. So that the lobby of Foreign airlines to consider the route would begin. If one European airline considers the airport, that will be all the boost it needs for now. Even if Air France combines its half-empty Lome -Paris route into Paris- Anambra-Lome, it will be fantastic for the airlines in terms of passengers and for the airport to have access to a major European city! Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa and Turkish airlines are other European carriers that could consider the airport to improve their passenger volume. Air Peace already has plans to service the China/India far-east route from the airport. 5 Likes 1 Share |

ANSMEDIA:Great! no reason a standard airport of this nature should have any of these type of restrictions anyway. I hope Ibom Air and other would begin operations immediately. One thing I love about Obiano is his lobbying capacity. Although not an APC gov but Anambra has benefitted more from APC fed govt than most APC states. He was able to lobby to make Anambra an Oil producing state, lobbied to bring Court of Appeal to Anambra, lobbied for second Niger Bridge, Enugu/Osha expressway, Fed Secretariat completion, Police Zonal headquarters (although was hijacked by Arthur Eze), then even when some interests in APC tried to frustrate this Airport project he lobbied successfully and would be handing over a 100 percent ready Airport. I'm sure if his tenure was not ending, the Airport would be granted an international license in few years. 5 Likes 1 Share |
