[quote author=daroz post=109696904]This man is the most competent of all the presidential hopefuls, I swear. You don't even have to swear. Undoubtedly,he is the best and the most competent. Surrounded by sound minds, intellectually, academically, idealistically and realistically,he is the best President Nigeria would never have if not nominated and voted as the country's President in 2023. If APC wants to mend the damage it has done and also repair its smeared reputation,Osinbajo is the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023 |

This is part of the reasons I am routing for Osibanjo. He understands the actual problem and has sound and working solutions. You need to visit the courts and listen to judicial proceedings or read judgment of an average Nigerian judge, so shallow, riddled with but grammatical blunders and derail thought processes that u wonder how some of them became judges. The truth is that here, the best brains don't get to become judges. The best brains are often not connected to the high and mighty who determine who becomes a judge. They fill the job with elements that do not have the capacity of becoming judges.. |

sapientia:you have no idea how the constitution works. Malami can easily override any VP and claim it's on order of Buhari. Buhari is Osinbajo's boss, not partner. As long as Buhari is alive, VP has no power. 1 Like |

lexy2014:you don't know the meaning of override? If he propose something the cabals don't agree with it can be tossed into trash can by an ordinary appointee like Malami. You expect him to challenge Buhari when he is constitutionally handicapped? Why pick a fight you can't win? |

Truth be told, not only the judges need. To stop that bow and go... The house too should stop that bow and go for former elected officials when coming for screening |

Re: Osinbajo: Appointment Of Judges Should Be Rigorous Not ‘Take A Bow’ Process by Walkee: 8:33am On Jan 26, 2022 |
lexy2014:he's a VP, he does not have any executive power. No one with the slightest knowledge of the constitution will say he failed to do his job. When he was acting president he dismissed one of the most powerful cabal, the head of DSS and brother of Buhari within few hours of breaking the law. As a VP he spearheaded economic programs to help petty traders. Those are his limits constitutionally |
Re: Osinbajo: Appointment Of Judges Should Be Rigorous Not ‘Take A Bow’ Process by Walkee: 8:36am On Jan 26, 2022 |
lexy2014:I'm asking how you a party that's very likely to retain power led a failed administration? You just want to sound smart by half whereas you have no idea what you are talking about. Do you know the meaning of failed administration? If Buhari endorsed Osinbajo this morning he's 99% the next Nigerian president. A failed administration will be hounded out of office not retain power. |

lexy2014: Osibanjo is actually one of the reasons this government hasn't failed beyond this level. He has succeeded in everything that has been entrusted into his hands, most especially negotiations with militants in the Niger Delta when they were bombing oil facilities. |
