You have to merge it with other documents, it’s not always requested neither is there a space to submit it without merging it with other documents. zxxtx: 1 Like |

Thank you for your response. They requested for Proof of employment including pay slips. Yes, I checked the same place you mentioned, no new session for the requested documents. I've submitted additional documents in the past (IELTS result and mybankstatement report) and got an active link to submit the documents then but the link is missing this time. Legacyedition:

Good evening all. This is my first time here. I see the thread is over 800 pages so its difficult to scroll and read up. Background. I've applied to a couple of schools for masters(second masters degree...I have an MBA from a school in Nigeria). I previously applied for Canada visit visa in year 2018. I was doing my MBA at the time so I added the admission letter to show one of my ties but was denied for home ties. I didn't know about SOP then so I didn't submit any. I currently have an active EE profile. That process now seems long thus the decision to go through study route. My two kids are US citizens(both less than 8years). I have good travel history to UK and US. My questions. 1. I understand Canada is interested in showing ties to Nigeria to be sure the student returns after study. Since I have an active EE profile, it means I fall under dual intent. How do I address this in my study permit application? How do I convince the VO I will return after study? 2. Do I apply alone for the study permit or with my family since i have an active EE profile which evidences I have plans to migrate to Canada eventually with my family. 3. If I apply alone, can I take my kids along without applying for visit visa for them since they are US citizens and don't need visa. They can stay in Canada for 6months without visa. Since my kids are US citizens, will this have any implication on my study permit(positive or negative). I would appreciate if anyone can help respond to my questions and also share sample visa SOPs for anyone in a similar situation to any of mine or point to the page if they were discussed or shared previously. I am willing to read and learn. Thank you. |

1. EE profile does not imply you have dual intent. Dual intent comes into play when you have a PR application in process and want to apply for a temporary residence and vice versa. 2. Having an express entry profile will not impact your application. I know many people who have express entry profiles and still receive their study permits. You can apply with your family and still get your study permit. However, since your application was refused due to a lack of home tie, I recommend applying alone. Your family can come over when you get your study permit. 3. Yes, they don’t need a visa. They will be given a visitor record at the border, 4. If you have a job, properties and belong to an association in Nigeria, you can use them as a home tie. Having kids in Nigeria is one out of many home-ties. isysleek: 3 Likes |

I know someone who sent to Abj since last week Monday and no update yet. No update from UPS sef, but she went there yesterday and dey said it's been sent to Abuja. Also, on Monday, she logged into her GCKey and passport was already stamped. So no reason to worry i guess. Check ur GCKey if it's been stamped. username12: 2 Likes |

Congrats in advance. When is ur program start date? If it's Fall 2022, you may need to do another medical examination, maybe that's why they requested for I again since it would have expired before entry. Again, congratulations! Nikky6: |

Hello, I can see that your eligibility review has been updated on your portal, so it's safe to say that they are on the path to finalizing your application, sending mails regularly to them at this point won't be bad. Meanwhile, edit the last picture you uploaded in this post, your personal information is showing Juyitan: 1 Like 1 Share |
