However, I’ll like to let you know this, that evil is an act.

An act is an action. Something that is done. Act means to take action.. or to do something.

Now Evil in itself is an act of doing something that is profoundly immoral or wicked. What this means is that for something immoral or wicked to be done.. it has to be done by someone or something

Satan, however is just one of the Nick-names given to LUCIFER. Just like the word Devil.

Satan means The Accuser. This is just a reflection of one of the characters of Lucifer (character coined through his acts which are evil) he is also a deceiver, a doubt sower and he is also into condemning.

In the book of John chapter 8 verses 44. Jesus was trying to explain the wicked ways of the Sadducee’s and Scribes, ways which are evil in Nature(refer to definition above) that they are not doing these acts by themselves, instead they are being controlled by the Original owner of these acts who is Lucifer. Also called the devil.

Quote: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it

In conclusion: An Act can never be greater than the actor. Because the actor is the perpetrator of the act. Your acts may live as a memory in the heart and minds of people long after the perpetrator is gone but those act only lives as a qualification of you.

Hence Evil cannot be greater than Satan. Rather Evil qualifies Satan as That is his way of doing things.
