Don't let Lai Mohammed and Festus Keyamo fool you, they're trying to put fear into Nigerians. Cos Twitter doesn't have their time, they're ashamed of themselves. Twitter never agreed any deal with Nigerian government, to spy on Nigerians. They will never give an African country backend of their system. Not even Rwanda where there's democracy unlike an environment like Nigeria. NEVER!!!. Google about the case of FBI VS one terrorist that FBI wanted apple to unlock the boy password iPhone, apple refused. Apple said the owner of the phone should unlock it himself. The case went to court and years later FBI withdrew the case, and claim that they've finally gotten a way to unlock iPhone with or without Apple help. As for tax, Twitter is still battling in court with French government on that matter. So far, France has back down on that matter cos even the US government won't allow that to fly. They see it as a trade war if you try to Tax any of their internet companies. Lai Mohammed is not happy that Twitter choose Ghana as their AFRICAN regional office. I don't see why Twitter will open two offices in West Africa when they haven't done any in southern Africa or eastern Africa. And also if they dare fall for Lai Mohammed demands, every other countries in the world (India, Brazil, Indonesia or Germany etc) will demand for same thing. Who no like better thing. Bottom line is, Nigeria is broke and the government of the day don't know how to tell us, that's why they're so desperate to tax anything they see. GTB bank is almost killing me with the kind of withdrawal happening in my account. it's now looking like I signed marriage certificate with them Lastly, with the European and Asian markets sliding off from crude oil it's going to get worse. You can't tax unemployed people for too long until they go crazy and say enough is enough. .
