1. Why do we apologize before saying anything in Nigeria? Eg “please don't be angry, where is First Bank located here?” “Abeg, no vex, where I go fit piss here?”

2. Why do we say ‘no problem’ or ‘no wahala’ when told to do sth after a conversation?

1. A sign of respect.

2. Re-affirmation.

OP, I don't see anything wrong in these things... You're simply trying to create a storm in a tea cup. I think your brain needs an oil change. angry

Well, there are various reasons to that;

1. The military government that ruled Nigeria in the 70s and 80s instilled fear into Nigerians and it made Nigerians to be suspicious of each other.

2. Most Nigerians act angrily and keep a strong face unknowingly so they don't look weak and vunerable.

Always end the day with a positive thought.

No matter how hard things were, tomorrow is a fresh opportunity to make it better.

"No wahala" is like "Aight" in English.

We say 'please' because we don't know the current state of mind of the next person in this country. You fit dey ask for directions from person rushing to pay ransom for his kidnapped son, or somebody that just lost his life savings to Racksterli, or a lady that was just served hot breakfast.
Make dem no transfer their aggression to you

Exactly you've to apologize first before anything
Re: Why Do Nigerians Do These Things? by RiyaGoddess(f): 6:20pm On Jan 26, 2022

People dey quick get angry for here due to hardship so the "please" before asking question is necessary to cool the person temper before he bite you.

2. Why do we say ‘no problem’ or ‘no wahala’ when told to do sth after a conversation?

1. It’s the right thing to do. You apologize for interrupting someone from what they were doing. They don’t owe you their time, so if you must interrupt, apologize.

“Excuse me, can you show me the restroom?”
“Pardon my interruption, can you show me the way out of the building?”

2. When asked to do something, “no problem” means yes it can be done without issues. For example, “Yes I can do it without any problem with my other schedule. Yes it’s ok, it won’t interfere with my other schedule.”

After a conversation? I don’t know about that. Maybe say “alright, talk to you later”
