Tinubu is the game changer for Lagos state. He set the path that all others followed. He is the illuminator and the master planner of modern Lagos.

He moved the state internal revenue from the monthly N600million in 1999 to the over N20billion that it is today. In fact, when Tinubu re-positioned Lagos state board on internal revenue to LIRS, the Obasanjo government quickly copied the template and changed Federal board of inland revenue to FIRS.

His revenue, education, transport, health, waste management and traffic management policies have been copied by so many states all over the country and even the Federal government. That Lagos is now the 5th largest economy in Africa is to his credit.

The present one ...he is this type of leader Nigeria needs ...didn't need to campaign but he did ...built bridges even with Igbos

He is proactive ...the only place u can fault him is when the issue concerns tinubu and the power that be interest like end SARS issue yet he found a way within his limited influence to try to compensate people


If he didn't have a very corrupt godfather believe me he would been a very great governor honestly

The rest are sweetmouthed thieves like Fashola who was running his mouth in 2014 on fixing electricity in 6 months bla bla bla. He was made Power Minister and worsened the power supply up.
Today power supply is worst since 1960 around Abuja main districts.

I doubt Fashola would have been this good I he governed 1999-2008. The pokitical structure of governance had to be laid down.

Asiwaju Tinubu laid the framework of trying to make Lagos state independent financial wise which is one of the reason Lagos state has been on an upward trajectory since then.

Now Lagos is the only state in Nigeria that generate almost 70% of her total revenue internally. That means Lagos is non-dependent on federal allocation. A feat that was achieved through the framework of IGR system Tinubu laid.

However, Fashola exceeded expectations and if we are to be fair in this, I think he Trumps the others because he actually projected Lagos as the model state for development while building on his predecessor framework.

He is also a master in human management, picking the best hand for the job.

Lagos is by far more beautiful than this today. The British only developed Lagos Island, Yorubas since the days of Awolowo developed the maintained, Lekki, Ajah etc. We moved our Lagos to the 5th largest economy in Africa and that is why Igbo folks like you want to die over Lagos.

Anyways, Lagos that was handed over to you people to mess up comprises of Ikoyi, Lekki and the entire Island.

The mainland especially Ikorodu that was built with Afonjas mediocrity doesn't need evidence to tell that it was not part of the original Lagos.

As for Igboland, see what we were able to turn Umuahia and Enugu to without anybodys help.
Awka, Abakaliki, Owerri and Asaba are available on request though.

This is Lagos, the 5th largest economy in Africa and the commercial capital of Nigeria. Yorubas turned Lagos to the 5th largest economy in Africa and not the British. It is the state your brothers wanted to burn down out of hatred and jealousy. It is the state that will always be the best in Nigeria. it is the state that makes you dream. It is the state that your brothers rush to to get out of poverty. It is Tinubu's Lagos. It is Yoruba's Lagos. It is our Lagos.

Lagos State was never the capital of Nigeria just Lagos City. The rest of the state were part of Awolowo's Western Region

Tinubu takes the cake. However, my honorable mention goes to Fashola who had the balls to deport ibo destitutes back to upper iweka. Lagos would have been far saner, cleaner and more picturesque without the burdens of overpopulation created by the economic refugees.
