Happy New Year, hopefuls! I am glad to see everyone's commitment to succeed in their quest to "japa" without delay. My Hebrews 11:1 God that favoured me in getting admission in days and getting my visa in 3 months will favour you! Life in British Columbia is great! The weather isn't harsh like other provinces where it's still snowing and in the minuses.... I am wearing chiffon blouses with a hoodies to go out (just to illustrate). As others have helped me on my journey to BC, I am committed to helping others selflessly. Feel free to send me a DM, as my busy schedule with this master's and work won't allow me to scour through this thread as much as I want to. My school has intakes for May for masters and every month for MBA, by the way. Please, I need my Naija peeps here.... China ti take over! Wishing you all God's immense favour! 36 Likes 1 Share |

Let her first go to the bank she initiated her BVN and link her email to it. Once her BVN is linked to her email, definitely the OTP will start dropping and there she progress with the e- Form A. Scott99tish: |

Hello house, I submitted my application in December but I’m worried about whether my proof of funds is sufficient. I submitted bond fund investment papers worth around 40m and explained in my letter than the investment can be withdrawn to cash at any time. But I’ve come across several articles that says IRCC does not consider investment papers as proof of funds. But alongside the investment papers, I submitted three bank statements of my sponsors with a total closing balance of 10m. Though my tuition for one year is CAD 8,096.. Plus living expenses of 10k, totals about 7million in naira. My question is even if IRCC doesn’t consider the investment papers, will the 10 million bank statements suffice? And also will the investment papers have adverse effect on my application? My sponsors are my parents. @makano @anon123 |

Hello Patrickokunima Can you please attach a sample of the refund policy of a school stating they wont refund school fees of any IRCC BANNED applicant.. I am not doubting you though, just to clear my doubt.. Peace [ PatrickOkunima: 3 Likes |

Hello Overcomer 1. Yes, you can go ahead and re-apply with the new portal and also use a new email, no issues at all.. Just make sure you input your UCI in the new portal and also declare all your previous refused Visa application, both for Canada and any other country you have been refused in the past. 2. Well, I do not think that NSE is still functional though. First, peeps that applied last year through the NSE route did not get a final decision within the stipulated 20 days by IRCC. Most NSE applicants got their Final decision in months. Second, if you observed most of the recent approved applicants here, you will barely see any of them mention NSE, even in their documents submitted, you wont see IELTS and other NSE documents.. Thirdly, I do not think there is anything like NSE with the new portal, I am saying this based on my observation with peeps that have made use of the new portal for their application.. So lemme assume NSE isn't functional. 3. It depends, either way wont be an issue.. The money can remain in his account and he can also send you some money to your Bank Account just to show more commitment. But which ever one you end up doing, make sure it is well stated in his Letter of sponsorship, Affidavit of sponsorship and also your SOP/LOE, so the Visa Officer will be aware of the breakdown of funds available.. makano: I saw it when I was searching for a school that offers PGD Accounting. Not one, not two. Unfortunately, I did not take note of those schools and I don't have the time to go back and start searching. Even if you don't agree, tell anyone paying tuition to take the time to read and understand the refund policy. I had to withdraw my application from NBCC as a result of IRCC delay. On the website, it was clearly stated that after the second week of resumption, the refund will be reduced to 50%. After a month, students will not be entitled to any refund. On Friday of the second week, I got another email from the school confirming that that day was the last day for full refund. I had to quickly complete the refund form to avoid stories that touch. Note, a rep of the school had earlier told me via email that since I did not resume, I am entitled to full refund at anytime. That the Friday deadline does not apply to me. Sorry to say, some of these schools are looking for avenues to reap international students off. If one mistakenly fall into their trap, that's the end. No amount of grammar you will write that will make them reconsider. 5 Likes |

Interesting If that be the case, then it will be unfair for any of these schools not to refund tuition fees back to the applicant after a refusal or a Ban.. If its true, then that is so absurd.. Peace PatrickOkunima: |

Hello everyone. Thankful for this platform. finally all the piece of my student visa journey is finally making sense . it’s been a roller coated trying to find schools with specialization in Human Resources or management. They all require gmat or gre and I’m trying to save cost lol. Please what’s the disadvantage of a 1 year program to a two year program. I found some management masters program but it’s 1 year . the employment relations I applied for at MUN is 1 year but can be completed in two years but it’s one year work permit me I’ll get. also, I’ll like to find out the following. Would appreciate it if someone replies biko. A police officer told me it’s 70k for the police clearance certificate. Biko what’s the price . |
