Hello! Does anyone know if I have to wait for a webform from IRCC before submitting my new passport if I had to get one because the passport I submitted with is valid for less than 6 months. I would like to submit my passport at the Accra office but I'm not sure if I can just send both passports (old and new) so I don't miss the 30 day deadline. Thank you! 1 Like |

Donpaper: Agreed that we should know a lot more when Canada publishes its updated Immigration Levels Plan by February 14th. The immigration minister has said that they are still finalising their Express Entry Strategy for 2022. And that they won't be cancelling and refunding any applications already submitted. But the internal IRCC memo means it doesn't look promising that draws will resume before July 2022. Source: https://www.canadafornewbies.com/when-will-fsw-draws-resume/ 3 Likes |

Emmnk: This right here needs plenty prayers oh , cox no one can tell you what to do accurately as this is solely in the hands of the VO . What happened to the first money ? Did you spend it ? . Any ideas given here will be risky . Because we will just be advising and won’t know what’s on the mind of the VO . Send a pm let me give a suggestion 1 Like |

Remed Request Here. (AOR: 01/‘21. VO: OVO. FSW) I’m not sure how to go about it; very fast (within a week) - Am I uploading anything via webform? - Can I walk into Qlife or IOM and get it done? Kindly help with suggestions. 1 Like |

temibanks: Modified I didn't read the second part of your question. 1. You can do your remed at QLife or IOM. They'll send your result to IRCC. You don't have to upload anything via webform. 2. There is a high probability that QLife and IOM are fully booked up to your 30-day deadline. You can confirm online on their websites. But not to worry if they are fully booked. This is what I did during my remed in Dec 2021: For QLife, I sent a mail and explained my situation. I also Attach my remed form sent by IRCC (the one you can download from your portal). They replied the mail and scheduled me for a date that was like a week before my deadline. I wasn't comfortable with that so I explored IOM. IOM was a bit more flexible. I walked in and with plenty beg and explanations and long wait, I was allowed to do my remed same day (it was my lucky day, it seemed like some people didn't show up). If they don't allow you to do it same day, you will be scheduled for another date which will be earlier than what QLife will offer you. In all, try and explain your situation. Let them know your medical is on request by IRCC (not upfront), and you have a deadline. 3 Likes |

Emmnk: Very easy. What the requirements state is you should be able to show proof that you have certain amount of money and should keep it till PR which takes an average of 6months to process. The circumstances around why it exceeded those timeframes was beyond you and IRCC'S control. Your application is more than 2 years old and definitely no one would expect you to put your life on hold keeping money for a PR process that has exceeded it's agreed timeline. Do a Letter of Explanation when submitting the evidence citing why the initial one was pulled. You withdrew it back to buy a car or whatever you used the money for(pay for an emergency hospital bill for a family member, funeral for a family member, supplement your business finances because of the Pandemic ) . State you did this after a year of not getting any feedback and nothing happened from their end. Provide proof of such transactions. Next is to do a gift deed for the bulk money you have now and attach that as your new POF or if you had to resell something to raise the cash..then go on and provide the evidence for such. The most important thing is that you now have the funds and it isn't a loan or something alike and you provide evidences for such transactions. 21 Likes 3 Shares |
