Aprokodaughter:what is not nice is u or any mini-gangster thinking they have the power to tell to others what to post or not post on a free forum when u can stroll through or go to bed. What is not nice is trying to make me look bad cuz I was seeking for ppls opinion on something important to me. I didn’t ask you to swallow my story hook, line and sinker. Nothing anyone posts here especially when it comes to personal information like this is 100 as is in real life so I am bemused why u went from am Putting too much information to I am lying. Scroll on, u must not reply everything( applies to me too) and it’s my sister, not friend. 25 Likes |

nwauwa: I was recently closely involved in a CSA & Child custody battle ............. After all said and done, over £10,000 was the damage (from the father's pocket)....... The babymama never sought legal counsel...... It's not cheap ......... |

nwauwa: Making you feel bad as how? You were the one that typed that your story is not 100% correct. If it's not true why are you stressing people and derailing the thread? Don't you think that is wickedness? 1 Like |

Lexusgs430:we want to try the remo route first but my sister is suggesting we have a lawyer from Nigeria send him a paid mail via DHL with acknowledgment enclosed to his place of work to notify him of her intentions first and give him one last chance to do the right thing. Since the final decision lies with her, we would oblige to her and let the lawyer try that too even though me and the rest of my family are so vexed we would prefer we go straight to Remo. |

Good afternoon, Apologies if this isn't the right forum but I need some clarification. Has anyone recently travelled to the UK (specifically Scotland) in the last 2weeks with Ethiopian airlines? Was pre-departure negative test certificate required for fully vaccinated travellers? I have gotten different responses on the issue. Id appreciate help on this. Thanks. |
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by Earthday: 3:25pm On Jan 30, 2022 |
ThaSlimKidd: All these airlines do have one or more offices around Nigeria, why not search for their numbers & call to clarify from them directly. |
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by ThaSlimKidd: 3:47pm On Jan 30, 2022 |
Earthday:I have. They aren't picking or replying emails and I don't stay in Lagos, Enugu or Abuja. That's why I need firsthand experience from someone who has travelled with them recently on this pre-departure test certificate |
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by nwauwa(m): 4:06pm On Jan 30, 2022 |
ThaSlimKidd:they don’t pick calls or respond to emails and they can come up with different rules eg this Covid test. I will advise u to do your PCR test. Better to have it than to miss your flight cuz of it 3 Likes |

icon8: It’s a good thing, let us try and encourage each other to have YouTube accounts if we can or have the time. The first videos are always going to be cringing but it will get better with time and experience. We should motivate each other to grow and be better at the things we are trying to do. Other races are putting silly videos on YouTube and making loads of money, why shouldn’t we blacks do it? Yes, even cats and dogs are making money from YouTube. Nothing wrong with that. 22 Likes 1 Share |

marylandcakes: Yes we can put up YouTube videos but we should avoid putting up false information (especially about Uk). The other day this same lady video was posted here and she was saying dependants needs to come to the uk 6 months before applying for PSW which is not true and she was saying it in confidence. |

Aprokodaughter: I am not advocating for false information, I don’t know about that video and I am talking generally about we blacks supporting each other like other races do, instead of knocking each other down. Of course, it’s wrong to put up videos with misleading information and such people need to be called out. In the process others who are working hard to put something out there, should not be belittled or made fun at. It’s not easy to do. 10 Likes |

marylandcakes: I am not saying you're advocating. I still supported your comment I am just saying that we should be careful about the information we share through youtube especially those who have an interest in travelling and living abroad contents. I just use her as an example since her videos are always posted here. |

DrObum: Must you comment on the story? Why did you not scroll down like you suggested? People have moved on since morning you still went to carry it. As usual preach what you can't follow. I can see you did not read the story. Next time read before you plan on causing confusion for NO REASON. |

Ugo73: If you are between the ages of 18 - 40, first time home buyer and resident in the UK, you can consider opening a Lifetime ISA. It allows you to save up up to £4000 a year, the government tops it up with a bonus of £1000. For couples, you can have a LISA each. I find that having a separate savings account helps with a standing order in place to transfer a fixed amount from salary account to savings account. 10 Likes 7 Shares |

codedarrow: They've casually mentioned that they used the government's help to buy scheme which means all they had to do was drop 5% deposit. I hope they are aware that such schemes are tagged as public funds. Good luck to them if they are not indefinite leave to remain holders as at the time they made the application . . . . Only an idiot with an eye on UK citizenship will claim public funds and think they can get away with it . . . . 1 Like 1 Share |
