Look at Ndidi's chances, they were good chances but he miscued his shot. Even though it was a well created chances, it will count as off target. If I remember right, Aribo had a good chance close to the box but shot wide, it will count as off target, even though it was a good chance. Remember Sadiq's last chance. It was a very close one but went wide and so it will count as not on target.

So chances created and chances on goals are good criteria to show how well the team played. If you look at that, you will respect Eguavoen.

We were curtailed, we were sorely clipped to the extent that Ndidi was now the player taking our shots.
What you are yet to put into cognizance, is the calibre of players that we paraded, individually we were better. Individual brilliances was on the beat, but tactics decided the day.

We were a poorly coached side.

Even before Ndidi and Eguavoen met in camp, Eguavoen already said he will demand more from Ndidi. We highlighted it hear he will want to build on Ndidi's shooting ability. That is a plus, not a minus.

The individual brilliance you keep harping about had to do with Eguavoen improving the players.

That is also a plus, not a minus.

Yes. I said Nigerian mentality because it is illegal and can only happen in countries where the law may not be followed and people can be bribed.

Criminal cases like sexual abuse and domestic violence cannot be settled out of court. Only civil cases like property and debt issues can.

What I've noticed is that we are always clamoring for players that are not present. Etebo was in the team when we lost to Argentina, South Africa, Algeria, Madagascar. He does not bring any quality greater than that of the other players in the team. In fact I recall that the major complain was that Etebo and Ndidi don't click.

So it's always that clamor for the unavailable player. When he comes now, it will be zeh.

The ONLY player whose coming back will add to the team is Victor Moses because he's head and shoulders above our current wingers

It's a very simple appraisal, better players should come in.

Etebo is head and shoulders above Nwakali.

Arthur Okonkwo looks talented and to be honest much more talented than Uzoho and Okoye but he needs to play first team football not reserve league. Hopefully he goes on loan next season as Arsenal are getting a 2nd choice GK from MLS.

At the home front, I don't think Rohr was properly briefed on the goalkeeping potentials back in the league. Ezenwa at a point was 2nd choice for his club but top class for the Super Eagles. A top rated goalkeeper like Afelokai has been displaced by a young Sochima at Rivers Utd. That's the kind of potential we have in that position. What these guys truly need is exposure and proper conditioning.

Our Olympics and U20 teams have always had goalkeepers from home and they never failed us at any tournament with errors to the levels we have seen with Uzoho and Okoye.
Afelokai is a poor keeper tho

When you think of Atlanta 96 squad, having Emmanuel Babayaro, Abiodun Baruwa, and Joseph Dosu. To me, personal choice, Dosu was even the weakest.

Abiodun Baruwa was the best penalty keeper I ever saw. He was so good at close range. Then now, it looks like if we can not find good keepers for the country and it has gone on for too long. I remember Ike Shorunmu, I think against Germany was mind-blowing. Save after save.

Now we get frightened when a test come for keepers. I hope this get sorted out soon.
all these guys you mentioned aside from Ike were average at best, ahead of ‘98 we wanted to manage baruwa but he threw away his chances in that Yugoslavia friendly, we had to go and bring Rufai from holiday for the World Cup

If state prosecutors pick up your case, there's nothing like out of court settlement. Besides not all cases are treated as criminal offense.

The only 2 Departments bewitching the SE are the AM & The Goal keeping.
Since Okocha hung his boots, we have been running helter-skelter.
Since Enyeama bid the NFF “premature” goodbye, things has never been the same.
These 2 factors contributed why we couldn’t pull a stunt against Tunisia.
Iwobi would have managed but the red card spoilt the show.

S.E was not a poorly coached side..

S.E lost due to goalkeeping error not due to tactics or been poorly coached..

If you don't know what to comment then don't make silly comments and don't make comments that dis-credits someone's effort.

you don't have to dis-credit another person just to make yourself feel good...

Anyone that has to constantly dis-credit another person just to feel good or prove a point has mental issues..

We can't get over the loss, the loss has to be studied to prevent future re-occurrence..

the first thing to do is to drop Maduka Okoye to 4th choice and Uzoho start...

The second thing to do is to bench Awoniyi and let Umar Sadiq or Dessers or Ihenacho start as striker...

The third thing to do is to ensure we always start with at least 3 midfielders , Ihenacho must never play as a midfielder again..

the fourth thing is ensure Amoo is called up replaces Ihenacho's midfield position...

Apparently Eguavoen is in Ikenne to watch Remo vs Rivers with the 2 most in-form goalkeepers in Victor Sochima and Kayode Bankole on show.
Hopefully this is the start to the end of Okoye and Uzoho monkey business.

Eguavoen wrong from day one according to you but voted best coach in the group stage and won all three games in that phase, while bringing excitement to the fans and fear factor to the team. Had players improving and put in up their best performances playing for the Super Eagles.

This your wrong from day one is confusing.
You And him fit each other just as zuchyblink and TFLASHOGEE fit each other.

I have said it and will say it again

Okoye will not start at watford. He will be 3rd choice on his best day. Who does he want to bench?

In fact, that AFCON mistake don dey make Watford owners piss for body.

If this is why Eguaveon is there, then very good. Okoye and Uzoho are birds of the same feather. It'll be nice if they are even eased out sef. Their entry into the National Team was undeserved
