Just make a photocopy and take it to any court or notary public to certify it

Hey guys,
I got a call from the South Africa consular yesterday asking if I had full access to my pension funds( 5m naira) which I submitted as an additional statement of acct. My answer was that I have access to just 25% of it. My other savings acct is a bit over 2.4m ( she didn’t ask questions about this anyways)

After the brief clarification, she said further said cos some applicants are used to forwarding fake bank statements. I told her my pension fund statement doesn’t have signature on it cos it’s an automated generated statement, that it can only be signed if there are alterations on it! She concluded will get back to me.
I have mixed feelings already. I hope I get a positive outcome soon(next week since my file has been attended to)

God knows my application is 100% genuine.
Upon this, I have paid for full tuition fees, momentum in advance with receipts attached.

Lol, very true. If na Lagos embassy… they will just deny you and put a reason: OTHERS ( APPLICANT NOT RESPONDING TO VERIFICATION MESSAGES)
Lagos wey talk say them call my school and school claimed they got no calls.

I thought kids visa don’t take to come out. My 1st child has South Africa birth certificate still nothing. It’s the second one I came back to have here coz I went through so much having the first without support.

E too hard this SA people

Just make a colored photocopy and take it to any court close to you or notary public to certify it

The memo didn't say they'd reopen in Feb 10. This is an indefinite closure. Question is why?

Even when COVID numbers were crazy, they were still operational (as par Gov't directives) so this isn't about covid.

Also what do you mean by sponsorship letter. The one that says I want to travel with them?

But how do I certify the docs now. Maybe I should go to the embassy in vi for certification as that’s where I was told to go and certify my son birth certificate since it’s a south African document

If it's a long time visa, court certification (notarization) won't cut it. That only works for short time visas.
You'd need to get the document legalized at Abj. Alternatives are to use some agents to help you do it then send it to you via courier.
A little expensive though, did for my son's birth cert. and my marriage cert. for 15k or so.

But check online, some agencies help with this and with good TAT too.
