Emmnk:I saw a guy on Canadavisa that used giftdeed for updated pof but I don't know what his outcome was. But if you search the internet well, I'm pretty sure you'd find people who have been in your shoes that can give you advice. Did you spend the entire pof and how long were you given to submit. 1 Like |

Thank you so much for this insight and I am grateful so I do q giftdeed and fix the money in fixed ddleposit and submit.the issue now is fd shows start date of investment...is there any other deposit I do that don't show such Very easy. What the requirements state is you should be able to show proof that you have certain amount of money and should keep it till PR which takes an average of 6months to process. The circumstances around why it exceeded those timeframes was beyond you and IRCC'S control. Your application is more than 2 years old and definitely no one would expect you to put your life on hold keeping money for a PR process that has exceeded it's agreed timeline. Do a Letter of Explanation when submitting the evidence citing why the initial one was pulled. You withdrew it back to buy a car or whatever you used the money for(pay for an emergency hospital bill for a family member, funeral for a family member, supplement your business finances because of the Pandemic ) . State you did this after a year of not getting any feedback and nothing happened from their end. Provide proof of such transactions. Next is to do a gift deed for the bulk money you have now and attach that as your new POF or if you had to resell something to raise the cash..then go on and provide the evidence for such. The most important thing is that you now have the funds and it isn't a loan or something alike and you provide evidences for such transactions. I was given 30 days , please I have searched and didn't find anything or anyone in similar situations.. ow I have 15 days more to submit to how best can I approach this [/quote] Afolavid: 1 Like |

Allegory:You never can tell who will receive a request for updated POF. Best bet is to leave the funds untouched all through the application process. If you are taking out of it limit it to just a little such that you can easily replace within the 7 days or 30 days that they ask you to respond. Normally the process took 6- 8 months but with covid it is now taking 2 years for many. Implication is that PCC, medicals and POF may need to be updated for many 2 Likes |

okesuku: It won't....they call it dual intent...but the study permit is a temporary visa, so you need to show the VO that you plan to return to your home country after your studies. Check out the student visa thread. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/visitors/dual-intent-applicants.html

[b]Police Report Request : Good Morning all, I have received a request from IRCC to provide updated police clearance for my husband and I. Our application was submitted in July 2020. I lived in the USA at the time and was able to present this police report. I have since relocated back to Nigeria in December 2020 and want to ask if I go ahead to remind them that I raised a case note notifying of my change in address. Or, do I simply go ahead and provide the clearance for Nigeria and the USA? Please help. Thanks 2 Likes |

Deniya: I assume you mean new/updated PCCs not the ones you submitted previously. If so, pls provide sharply. However, when you scan the new PCCs (remember it must be in colour) in the placeholder, you may also want to include a short sentence on an adjoining piece of paper, reminding them of your change of permanent address from USA to UAR (provide new address) just in case it was missed. Then send both the PCCs and new address again by webform for good measure https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application 1 Like |

HELP (Asking for a friend Please) My friend has been in a country for 5 months and 7 days, and the country's police clearance is inaccessible. Could his application be rejected if he doesn’t include such police clearance in his application? Keep in mind that the IRCC demands six months. Has anyone ever heard of a situation like that? And what was the applicant's faith? 1 Like |

raheemkeji: Pls let your friend read this link from IRCC especially the section in the screenshot. It is unlikely his app will be rejected in my view....I think worst case they'll ask for it as an ADR. But what does it mean PCC is inaccessible? Did he try to get it and was told in writing by the authority that it is impossible? What is the plan if he gets an ADR? If a request letter from IRCC is required, the link also says what the applicant should do. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html 1 Share

Hello everyone, I trust we are all good. I heard it's raining ppr today. Congrats to all who got theirs. I am particularly looking forward to @Graciouswords testimony. So I have added my spouse, after my copr was issued. She was asked to do her medicals, which she has done(showed medicals passed by January 14th). Now waiting for her biometrics request letter to be issued. The problem now is that the copr that was issued to me post adding my spouse expires on February 10th. This was issued based on the assessment of my application as a single applicant. What do I do in this scenario? I have raised webforms, and written several emails requesting advice to no avail. Travelling with the issued Visa might constitute a problem in the future since it is indicated I have no dependent. So many questions on my mind such as: Will my Visa be cancelled, and when might that be? Who has been in similar position? Do I travel, while she joins me when they finish processing hers? Wont it amount to misrepresentation? All these queries lingers, and I would be grateful for some insights considering how long it takes to get another ppr after the first one has been issued. 1 Like |

PanicButton: When you add spouse, your app is being re-opened, you can't travel with the Feb 10 COPR if your circumstances have changed (green). This is my understanding, make others put mouth. I think you have to wait for her BIL to be sent, following which IRCC should finalize and send fresh PPRs, fresh visas and fresh COPRs for your family. Only IRCC know how long that takes, hopefully not long. BTW, did you submit IMM0008 showing a change in family composition when you sent in your passport to VFS, it seems to be part of PPR email? If you did and they still issued COPR, then I don't know again, maybe that was a bureaucratic blunder by IRCC or maybe my understanding is warped. Check Canada.visa out, there's a larger population there, you may find someone with a similar issue. https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/7#107370641 2 Likes |

In all honesty this pcc is a dicey thing, and one must read carefully especially if u have an extensive travel history. My first application was refused because of this pcc stuff. My wife has travelled to more than 25 countries and I can tell u that our criminality hasn't even started meanwhile eligibility has been passed since March 2020. My question thus is this. My wife has moved to a new country, we already informed Ircc via webform about change of address but no revert from them yet. I read here that there is a high likely hood of getting Adr for pcc if u change ur address. Are we providing new pcc for both countries again? 1 Like |

GraciousWords: Thanks for your response once again. Concerning the IMM008, there was no need to submit it since my status had not changed, and I was yet to inform IRCC of the impending change in status. It was during the period when I sent my passport for stamping, that I did the court marriage and informed IRCC of the change. Subsequently, they acted on it accordingly. |
