I don't know if this is a well intended lie. But be that is it may, it is important to point out that the igbo spoken in Bonny is the Ndoki version, Bonny chiefs had in the past, resisted teh usage of central Igbo or other Igbo as a means of comunicaition. That is why today Bonny do not speak central Igbo or other igbo aside Ndoki. And you know that Ndoki were never slaves in Bonny. GOing by this, it is stupid to claim that Bonny speak Igbo because of slave trade,

Bonny has been spaking Igbo even before the advent of slave trades cause Ndoki founded Bonny and the first set of Kings in Bonny were Ndokis.
