Some people buy return tickets because of PTA or because they plan to visit Nigeria at some point during the 1st year of their UK stay.

Is placement year also calculated as schooling year has have seen schools with placement though at an extra cost i don’t mind incurring but I want to be sure of how the placement works.

Placement comes with a lil extra fee in some schools, but I know a few schools where placement comes with zero cost:

Solent university, Southampton
University of Law

Despite placement also increases the cost of your IHS, it is advisable to go for courses that have placements becuase, it buys you more time after completing your program

In terms of advantage to you, PTA allows you buy foreign currency at cbn rate of say 415naira to 1 usd as against the black market rate of maybe 580 naira to 1 usd. In this way you avail yourself more foreign currency for cheaper.
So with 580k with aboki you’ll get 1000usd, with pta application and then approval with same 580k you will get 1400usd. Extra 400 usd for same worth of naira.
The FG only allows individuals this opportunity after certain criteria are met such as return ticket, trip outside west africa with more than 5 hours flight time etc. it’s a cost saving mechanism if u have naira to exchange to dollar or pounds for ur travel.

My school (OOU) only processes transcript online and only to organizations/institutions.

Now if I request for transcript to be sent to one uni and they don’t give me admission, that’s already a waste of money, and I can’t possibly pay to keep sending transcript to different schools, as I’d actually like to apply to more than one school. What if I request it to be sent to my workplace, I collect it and send to the university myself.

Will the universities accept it coming directly from me. Cos My school don’t send transcript to the student.

Two were in my name, the dorm account Stanbic was in my husbands name. I was actually having sleepless nights because I printed the statement from the app and it was unstamped and I read so many comments here saying, put all the money in one account, make sure it is stamped at the bank, don’t use mixed denominations etc. However, I knew that the Gov website said electronic statements are okay and they don’t have to be stamped and I knew my statement was genuine, but ultimately I was still scared. At the end of the day , God came thru

electronic statements are very well accepted. As long as it is genuine u dnt need any extra stamp. I dnt understand who is spreading such false info.
