If you still want to come to SA for masters or PhD please have a rethink.

Look for other better countries. Biko.. There are many countries around the world that will give you opportunity to build a life and career after your post graduate studies. It is international students that keep contributing massively to the research in many SA unis. The least someone should get after spending 4 years on a phd or 2 years on an intensive masters program in a critical skills area, is a pr or at least a work permit.

Take if from me, the hustle to come to SA to live permanently is overhyped. Things have really changed.

So what is not over hyped

all this one na initial gra gra.. They will revisit the waiver again pretty soon.. UK did same few years ago. When they witness high decline of international students coming to UK,Nobody tell them to introduce 2years post graduate work permit with a possibility of extention. Top world countries are embracing international students and have 2-4years PGWP like Australia,Canada,UK,US,IRELAND,GE,small ant like south africa want to bring thier head out..And it is not as if the indegenes are going to school oo..
Nonsense.. undecided

The answer is NO. You can only answer yes if the visa was granted before and travel with it and on getting to point of entry and immigration people deny you access into the country

Thanks for response, when is it the right time to apply for the e visa for SA
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Blurpy: 10:41am On Feb 04, 2022
Whether they want to bring their head out or not is left for them, it's their country and they can do whatever they so wish to do with it, meanwhile South Africa has a closed economy unlike UK,USA.
If you observe there have been several agitation from the citizens to tighten immigration laws and the put south Africans first agenda. Even work permits of many foreign nationals like Zimbabweans were revoked. PR and critical visa Applications take longer time now. The stylish denial of study visas with flimsy excuses is also a sign. There's no wisdom in still applying to where you are not welcomed. Instead put that energy into applying to those countries where you have the post graduate work permit as you said! It's not even as if there are good job or work opportunities there, there's still high unemployment rate!

No more PR or PGWP.....it doesn't make sense to come to South Africa on a Study Visa. Re-think

LMFAO, the painment and entitlement from this post shocked shocked. Honey South Africa has many problems of her own,we can't be going through an economic meltdown with millions of graduates unemployed, and yet play father Christmas to the rest of Africa and the world. South Africa is not the employment agency of the continent my friend, try elsewhere. By studying here you are not owed anything else beyond graduation. South Africa is not a first world country ,even those so called first world nations are struggling economically now and changes are being made to keep migrants out. LMFAO, if you don't really have exceptional skills you will continue ranting and insulting every country from now on .....things are about to get shytty wink. If South Africa is an ant.....then what do you call a shythole like Nigeria? shocked grin

@ the bolded ... grin grin grin ....more frustrated rants I guess ( senseless ) grin grin.

LMFAO, the entitlement is amusing grin grin.My Gawd!!

Listen here you,if you people were smart you'd organise all your educated people around the globe, form a union or party that will push your government to prioritise the basic needs of it's citizens instead of blaming and insulting every country that rejects your parasitic nature . You could use that group to push Buhari to put more money in your education sector and push for more capable people to be in charge of reforming the sector and others. But what do you guys put all your energy in......running to ready made countries like parasites ....and when things don't work out or you find out that there's problems in that country too ,you start lashing out at your host communities as if they are responsible for you grin . I support you though in telling your people to stop flooding our shores,we have enough problems and struggles of our own,we can't keep catering to outsiders . Continue spreading the word.

Can one pay for visa fee online. There site is saying we should only pay with POS available at the application centre but if you try booking for appointment, they will direct you to a place that will require you put your card details. Please help a confused applicant. Thanks
