Some Twitter users are criticising Rinu Oduala for planning to host Dr Bukola Saraki, a forme Senate President, Governor of Kwara State and one of the leaders of the PDP, on her Twitter Spaces discussion which is scheduled for tomorrow.

These people have often alleged that the End Sars protests were initiated and sponsored by PDP supporters and that most of the main leaders of the protests were supporters of the PDP. They have often dug up old tweets in which some of the leaders of the protest like Rinu and Modupe Odele created tweets in support of the PDP or its candidates ahead of the 2015 and 2019 elections as proof that the protests were inspired by the PDP. They also declared that they were waiting to see how the leaders of the End SARS protest would begin to campaign for the PDP ahead of the 2023 elections.


Recently some entertainers have been criticised for associating with prominent APC figures. For example, Leo Dasilva was heavily criticised for agreeing to speak at an event in honour of Bola Tinubu and Taoma and other comedians were criticised for meeting Vice President Osinbajo.

People are wondering why these entertainers are being criticised for meeting APC figures, when some of the leaders of the protests, who had declared (during the protest) that they didn't want APC or PDP anymore, are now meeting with PDP figures. The Twitter celebrity "Aproko Doctor" also recently met with Doctor Saraki.

However, some of her supporters say that the fact that she is hosting Dr Saraki does not mean that she supports him.

To say the truth, I even wonder if majority of these Twitter celebrities have PVC and do actually vote. During the 2019 election, I can only remember Tiwa Savage and Toke Makinwa and some of them voting. These button pushers who call themselves influencers were no where to be found.

Well people should not blame her, she is only aligning herself for the forthcoming election, she can use her new found popularity to canvass support for a candidate willing to pay.

The politicians too are watching some key figures in the protest, they will pay them to deceive some gullible youth. People should not forget the fact that EndSARS was a spontaneous protest that had no leader. Even when the Segalink edged out, the protest became stronger, so nobody can use the fame gained during the protest to speak on behalf of youth today.
