"Sequel to your application process the admissions team require you to provide and explanatory evidence to address why the name on WAEC is not in line with your International passport".

Above is the response I received from Ulster University today. I have my name written as OLUWASHOLA on my WAEC certificate as against OLUSHOLA on my international passport and every other documents. My other names are perfectly the same on all my documents.

Kindly advise how to deal with this.

I got it 3 weeks ago.....I then contacted them again after the expiration of the 10 days wait as advised in the mail and the case got escalated on the 28th of January 2022. I sent another mail again after the case was escalated and got this mail from them

I am a traveller myself but I am only thinking if it worth, bringing my family of 3 dependent plus an applicant to UK with 10M, thou my wife is a teacher with TRCN and presently working in a federal girls college with B.edu/Political science, she is 23 years, Am an engineer.

Will i regret it later?

Baba; go to an high court and get an affidavit of confirmation of name or whatever. The affidavit should carry all variations of your name and show that you still are the same person. Then send it to the school. Affidavit should be 1k or so. You will come back to testify Insha Allah. Praise the Lord!!

From my own perspective, it's simply not a bad move and you regretting later or not depends on God ... it's really worth taking the risk cos whatever you do is for your kids ... our country is so messed up and never know when it will get better . It's better to try than not to try at all . I will not tell you to go ahead or not but remember you are a soldier on earth . Nothing comes easy only if you make a move and fight for it ... be optimistic and it shall end in praise

same drama...you collect the dollars from the bank… go back to the black market and chnge back to naira. U get more naira, then you buy pounds from the black market. Ultimately you wud get more naira to cover any losses and will get more pounds this way.

Yes I tracked it this morning around 11:00am and saw moved to VAC, so I decided to head there without getting a collection email that at all at all we must settle it today. Got there around 2:30pm ish and wrote down my name for collection. As I was waiting with other people, collection email dropped.

That’s how I picked it up.

Was able to pick up within five minutes that the collection email dropped.

They have a lot of peoples passport there and they just update the tracker at the pace they like.

To the best of my knowledge, I think it means your latest arrival must not exceed 14th-18th of February, thus them saying the week starting on Feb 14th... I might be wrong tho..All the best and I hope your visa comes out soon.

You can track your package on DHL website with your waybill number: . Please note you will need to sign for your package when it arrives.

what do you mean by empty waybill? did the package arrived your address and nothing inside?

Once your school is not extending your date to a time that'll accommodate your visa delay, you'd have to defer and start the visa process all over again for the next session.
Don't bother travelling as you'll be turned back at the POE.

I have a unique case and I need all the advice I can get. I did my biometrics on the 22nd/23rd of December, got a mail 2weeks later requesting for extra documents which was sent on the same date. A week later a paid mail was sent which was ignored, a subsequent one was sent which was replied asking for name, country etc. 2 more paid mails have been sent which have been ignored.
Registration for my school ends today 4th February. I've written to the school (University of Westminster) seeking an extension and they replied yesterday saying it's impossible and my options are deferment of the admission or to seek a refund.
My questions are;
If the visa eventually comes out after today do I still travel? Considering today is the last day for registration, Anybody ever been in this situation before? How did you do it? What are my options?

Have you visited the visa centre just to see if they have it? Some have tried that and luckily their package was there
