I have a question. I have come across lots of people talking about receiving 60 days notice in their mails pending the time they receive their IL after being DQed. Some have received this 60 days notice couple of times. Is it normal if someone who has been DQ since over 6 months to not have received one single 60 day notice email?

They’ve rescheduled all F4 interviews that got their letters in February 2022 till May 2022.

Not only F4 o. People on my whatsapp group who are F2A also got rescheduled from Feb to April

Oh wow PD April 2014 is already way passed current according to the bulletin. I guess we can as well toss the bulletin aside cause it’s not accurate anymore. Bulletin states current for DEC 2014 for F1 and you’re April 2014 and yet you’re still waiting.

I have admission to go and study MBA in the Uk this June, I started making the arrangements when I saw nothing was moving at the US embassy. Now am confused if am to continue waiting on NVC for my turn, since some people upto DQ Feb. 2020 got IV for interview recently.

Or I should go ahead with my study, maybe whenever i get the interview IV, I will come back for it??

Please all the experienced hands in the house, I need all your candid advise now.

As of Nov last year, F1 was at Jan 2020 DQ according to the groups I follow. I'm F1 June 2020 DQ ...no interview letter yet. My PD is Nov 2013.

Please go for your masters and notify NVC of your new location. These people are seriously dragging feet. Even those that got interview letters this February got rescheduled for the next 3 months before appearing in person for their interview.

Trust me you won't regret going for it, if eventually embassy even calls on you while still running your program you have 6 months from your medical date to relocate to the USA. And I suppose your masters should just be for a year, and I will assume your a family based category F (something).

From your DQ date I don't see you getting an interview letter this year, maybe early to mid next year, except they devise a new means of clearing backlogs.

Honestly I have no ideas. I’m April 2007 and dq in February 2020 and I’m not current yet! If anyone told me it will take this long, I will say impossible!
Although I currently live in the USA on a work visa.
Someone said there’s a chance of a retrogression in June. Who knows? So don’t put your life on hold, live it now and to the fullest.
That said for an mba, it’s better to wait and do it here, it will be a leg into the job market for you I think. Although my mba from the uk got me a very good job here I think there was an element of luck in it so who knows? Seek guidance from God and follow your heart

My husband was transferred to the us by his job in Nigeria - a big multinational

I was in the middle of doing my mba in the uk, and it landed me a great job here after I moved.

I’m a dependent on my husbands work visa so work permit was not a problem

If you are working and earning a good income in Nigeria. Stay back, give it one more year! Use this year to prepare for gmat, write your essays and apply for your mba here in the USA and hold your admission. Aim for a part or full scholarship.

Also save aggressively. scale down and save as much as you can for a softer landing

It will be much easier to get a job with their education here than with the uk. Not impossible, but easier. Plus the network you will make in school will be invaluable to you.
