It simply means you are forfeiting the previous approved application by applying for a new application.. So according to IRCC, Yes, your previous approval will be invalid once you apply for another study permit.. Peace emonipoint: 1 Like |

Hello Ogidigan 1. Yes, you will need to explain in details your study Gap, just to convince the Visa officer that you have not been idle all these years but instead you have been actively productive all these years.. 2. Age is never an issue when applying for study permit.. Like I have said some months back on this thread, with my experience, the oldest I have seen getting a study permit(Not on this thread though) is a 59 year old woman.. So age is just a number, just do your home work by giving the Visa Officer convincing reasons why you want you wanna study in Canada.. Peace Ogidigan1: 3 Likes 1 Share |

tholah01:my advice to you is to apply to cheap schools, there are many university or colleges that has relatively cheap tuition. 1.Apply to a school that have <18kCAD tuition. When You get admitted, tell your mom to send you some money( about) with gift deed. This will bring your total funds to 3.2million this will enable you pay your first term tuition and also show funds for your living expenses. Before paying your tuition Print your bank statement. Pay first semester tuition. Contact your uncle to write sponsorship letter and provide the following documents; 1His Employment letter/business registration certificate 2. Birth certificate for proof of relationship. 3. Bank statements 4. Promotion letters 5. His payslips 6. Passport bio data Page. Provide home tie; assets, properties and your mother can stand as home ties, if you have neither assets nor properties, you can use you mother. Write a captivating SOP, contact gurus to review it. Apply and hope for best. If you don't get it in your first application you can apply again or request for you tuition. You are only allowed to work 20hrs during school section and unlimited hours during school break. Now you have about 35 days breaks combined in both terms and four month summer break. If you are able work two full time jobs that pays above minimum wage it might be possible. But this depends on you, It is not a guarantee. But it is better you get a benevolent sponsor. Good luck. 8 Likes 1 Share |

adelolo: If you never book the flight and she is old or have weak legs, ask for wheelchair assistance for her when booking her flight. I believe the airline will be responsible for her moving around the airport and ensuring she does not miss her flight. All the best. 1 Like 1 Share |

Please house I want to ask can I use my National Diploma (ND) for undergraduate degree programs and if yes, how many years program would it be and which university would you suggest for me. Thank you all and hoping for answer |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by bullstriker: 4:26am On Feb 06, 2022 |
Yes, you can use your National Diploma (ND) or WAEC/NECO. The duration of the program and choice of school depends on the program, school and finance dikadubai: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Osemigho: 4:31am On Feb 06, 2022 |
dikadubai: Look for direct entry degree programs at polytechnics. They usually accept any previous post secondary education that is 2 years and above for admission. Also, they are usually 2-year program (one year coursework and one year internship or coop). However they may ve slightly expensive for first year (above 20k) and cheap for second year (below 7k). Alternatively, you can transfer to a degree at the university or do a PGD or PGC at college. Your best long term option is a degree because most employer take it as a basic requirement at the senior level. All the best. |

Osemigho: Thank you for your response. Please if I choose to go for a degree program in a university with the ND result, would it be 2 years degree program or 3 or still from year one |

Is it true that one cant apply for visa in a country where one is not a permanent residence.. if one is in UK and not yet a permanent residence, can one apply for visa to Canada. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by emonipoint: 6:17am On Feb 06, 2022 |
So sad! Thank you very much . So what about this link what does it address? https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools/account.html Again it also means I can't travel with the Visa already stamped on my passport makano: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by mrprolifik: 6:17am On Feb 06, 2022 |
desi10mi: You can apply but you stand a better chance if you are a permanent resident of the UK. It is difficult to demonstrate to the visa officer of having strong ties to the UK if you are a temporary resident. 1 Like |

Are you referring to your payslip from work? If yes, contact your HR or Accounts Department. Various organizations have different methods of issuance. |
