How can a national party microzone its presidential ticket to SS? How is that sensible to you guys?

Even if Buhari want to back Amaechi, the party will still NEVER microzone the ticket to the SS. APC ticket will be zoned to the SOUTH and not SS. Every interested southerner will vie for the ticket and we shall support whoever emerged. It is as simple as that.

They want to agree to a consensus before the Primary. And Buhari has a lot of power over APC.

You talked about zoning to SS in your post that I responded to and not consensus. Even as regards consensus, it cannot fly for the presidential ticket looking at what the law says.

For consensus to be valid, every interested candidates must sign an agreement letter that they agree to the consensus candidate. That is where the challenge is. Consensus can work in choosing party NWC members but it cannot work when it comes to choosing candidates for general election.

Wike will not be fielded. He has no claim to it. He has already declared he is not Igbo, so under what bases will he seek nomination and win it?

Wike only has the SS card to play, but that will not be strong enough, owing to the fact that GEJ was the president, just a few years ago
