Please I'd like to know anyone did biometrics 3rd of Nov 2021 and have gotten their passport back. It is past 60WD (exclusive of the 3 days holiday). I called UKVI last week and they said decision has been made. It has been a week now and TLS haven't emailed for passport collection and my tracker is still at the 3rd tick. Thank you |

Good morning everyone, hope you are all good, glad to see people coming back here to leave feedbacks after they asked their own questions. My wife had her biometrics done last week, 28th of Jan 2022, we are meant to get a response back by April ending. The thing is her TB certificate ends exactly in April too. She had her TB done in October 2021, would this be an issue? Should we get her to do another one if we haven’t received a decision back by April ending? Her Visa is meant to be a settlement/spouse visa, and we paid standard fees (£3700). If we get a decision within the time period then fine as we would just get her ticket and she would leave Lagos within a few days. I am just wary of the TB expiry date. Many thanks |

It doesn't matter when the TB cert expires. As long as it's valid on the day the application was submitted, then you are good. If takes UKVI 6 months to reach a decision, it's not your fault. You submitted a valid cert when the application was made. Ray7878: 2 Likes |

abubarakat: Amazing!!! Am delighted, my wife was worried about this, and this was my thought as well. I was hoping someone would back me up, I think the stress of getting the TB appt was why she was worried about the expiry date. Many thanks for your prompt reply. 1 Like |

Thank God a decision has been made. I have been waiting on them, my bio was done on the 7th of September, i am currently on 100WD. Their phone lines weren't connecting, so i did a paid email and they said no decision has been made, so i asked for an escalation. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions. Am sure you will hear from TLS soon, you have done the most part of the waiting. soldout88: |

Akins2021: Datz just the best thing to do, coz there is this group I belong too, nd most pple ve been complaining of not get an e mail after decision ve been made and the tracker not also changing, so once they do a paid enquiry nd decision has been made they just go to their VAC and they find out their passport has been sitting pretty in their office without contacting the applicant. 1 Like |

Hello house please I need your advice. I intend to apply for a skilled work visa to UK together with my family. I am applying from South Africa. My wife's SA visa is due to expire in few days. Although we have applied for an extension of her SA visa, there has been delays. Will UK not deem her as living illegally in SA if by the time we submit UK visa, she doesn't have legal status in SA. We can provide explanation to say she had applied for the visa well over 3-4months ago. The children have valid visas. I know you are deemed illegal in UK only when the outcome of your visa application comes out provided it was submitted before the previous visa expires. I need insight into what I can do. I need to resume in about 2 months. |

Good evening everyone, I keep reading about paid email, what is that? How much is it? And do you have to pay this if you are sending the email from the UK? Thank you all. |

Debbiespicy: Good morning , i tried this link and copied two number there. It was answered by an automated machine/Robot. Is there an actual number to call? Or an email address? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Debbiespicy: 10:41am On Feb 04, 2022 |
Phone calls take time to go through and you waste a lot of money during that. I advise you to send an email, that's cheaper and they will respond. |
