NGpatriot:
People all over the world, young and old wear trousers, shirts and jackets every day, but some ignorant, unexposed village illiterates want us to believe that only young people wear trousers, shirts and jackets.
Is this politics of stupidity, ignorance, hate or bitterness?
This rubbish doesn't even make sense...

ResidentSnitch: Tinumbu is just like a bad bone that has stuck in an awkward place. He's banking on the fact that PDP may field in a candidate from the east and then he rallies support from north by playing the age-long tribal card of ganging up against the east. If PDP presents a northerner, then he would simply step aside, support the APC candidate and retain his reputation as a party leader and king maker. Either way, I give it to him: he's smart. However, the general sentiment is that Nigerians don't want him, apart from Afonjas. I like you because you already knew the East no get any level in all this politicking. Whether in PDP or APC, an Igbo on the ballot spells doom for the party. Just return to antagonizing Tinubu daily like your Ohaneze instructed. But understand that the Yorubas won't just stay silent like the Northerners did when you ran on a tirade against Buhari. You can attack Tinubu based on factual evidence you have about his performance, it's a democracy and it's your right. But attacking the same on just hate will be matched by same magnitude. 1 Like |

Politicians and age declaration....... Imagine the 69 year old man..... Until Nigeria makes a law that will only allow an Individual to take an oat of office twice in a lifetime, we will continue to do what is called "Recycling of thieves" Assume that such law be made, house of Assembly member will know that it is either he takes his "oat of office "for four years term and bearing in mind that he is left with another four years to be in any elective position as a legislator or Executive and thereafter retire to his family house. We have more than a million capable hands, why must we die in the hands of these "old blood"? Imagine since 1999..... |

Truly Tinubu is old but his brain not old that man more brilliant than any politician from southeast both dead and living one. I beg, go and sit down! So, he has no rights to air his own opinion? Ain't you saying your own too? So the moment someone's views run contrary to urs, you must insult him? If you are ashamed of sharing same state and hometown with him, then, change ur state. There should be freedom of expression, if you feel you don't like what someone says about someone or something, then give ur own version, not insulting the person |

I see the usual rush to refer to the US as an example against Naija/ Africa. However, Joe Biden is not a very good example to use , as age is obviously telling on Him. Biden’s age even worried some Democrats and allies in the run up to the election. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2019/07/29/us/politics/joe-biden-age.amp.htmlI am not a Trump Fan, but Biden is not doing enough to counter the “sleepy joe” perception with His frequent gaffes, both insignificant - like insulting a journalist while mic was on and significant - like Afghanistan. |
