Boss nor dey put fear for people mind like dis na?
Be calming down oo

RodgersAkpafu:

Unfortunately not

500k is just north of $1000+
N4m to cover fees plus flight plus one year worth of expenses is what I'll recommend
Some may say it's too much
Some will say its little
And they may b right based on their perspective
but I know that N4m can carry you over the fence and keep you comfy in russia
At least for the first year
Are you doing undergrad or postgraduate

Flight nko
Visa processing
Annual living expense nko?

You can study in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Dolgaprudny, Chelabynsk, Obininsk.

The lowest school fee i have seen in Russian Universities is around 75,000 rubles but this is dependent on the course of choice and the institution you wish to study in.

When i went to Russia i flew Emirate, but the agent that booked the flight swindled me of 520k naira, untill i came to Russia and saw my Russian woman booking flights. There i saw how Nigerian agents have been swindling Nigerians like me.

You can budget atleast 350k naira or little more above for flight, to and fro. And BTA of 1000 dollars or above but in general if you're bring up to 10 thousand dollars into Russia you must present it to the Russian immigration officers at the entrance to be cleared. If the liquid money exceeds 10k USD it is condidered money Laundry.

You can get a job in Russia in your first year. The new law allows students to work without permit. But if the new law doesn't apply strongly you can seek a working permit from your institution and work in the schools organization or affiliates.

The IT sector in Russia is very advanced and you need to have a proper skills which includes knowing and speaking Russian. Though you could be lucky, if you're smart enough to device a survival strategy to compete.

You can still work with your Nigerian clients, the world is globe now, you can connect and work with your clients from any part of the world right from your computer.

I myself designs website for my Nigerian clients while living in Russia. So you can as well do better by using the cheap internet and the uniterupted electricity supply to build and achieve your goals.

In regard to the Russian scholarship, their's a Quota which everyone who wish to study in Russia have to compete. I think Russia gave Nigeria about 2-5% of the quota last i checked. I may be wrong with the figures of % percentage, but i know their's a quota for Nigerian nationals. But you must go through competition.

"which airline is cheaper?" i wouldn't be able to lay emphasies on the cost flight bookings. It depends on some factors, like your lugages, the class, and the type of airline and the routes and stops. I flew Emirate and only had a wonderful stop at the Dubai airport, from which we exchanged to another emirate airline headed to Moscow it was a almost a 6hour flight from Dubai to Domododevo airport in Moscow.

When coming to Russia dont carry with you Cocaine, cannabis, SK, if you;re carrying any drugs or syrup that contains codeine, ephedrine or any other opium extract, it must be accompanied by a notable doctors prescriptions.

Don't bring in Porn Movies recorded on a CD or DVD, Guns, Military Knives or gadgets related to the military.

You can come with your red oil, egwusi, ogbono, garri, dried fish, stock fish, etc. You only have to deal with the Nigeria's greedy immigration officers that will share your oil and Egwusi into 2 and tell you it is too much to be taken abroad, or accuse you of going to sell it in Russia.

God knows they'll take it home and make soup with it.

Their Immigration procedure? Please put this question properly so i'd understand what exact answers you seek in this category.

Russians are badass..... Their president and national USSR Anthem strikes fear into the hearts of men..

Op, how much should someone budget for school in Russia!!!! Like a first timer??

Have 3m in hand. But it actually depends more on the exchange rate (dollars) and also largely depends on the region you wish to study in.
Studying in some regions are more cheaper than certain region. But trust me Russia is a good place to be in

Jobs are everywhere if it's that one. You can work as a student now because of the new law signed by Putin, though students have been working here before the law

[quote author=Austeen007 post=93099677]Russia!

Every one of us would not deny that we haven’t read or heard one or 2 weird stories about Russia.

If not. At least, you must have heard the following that;

Russians are racists; they do not like black People.

Russian spits on black people on the streets
Russians kills black people or Africans in the streets of Moscow.

Russia is not a place for a black man to travel to; Especially Nigerians.

I get often asked 2 particular questions from most Nigerians about Russia;

“How is the racism there, I heard they’re racist?
The Good News is that I have been living in Russia for almost 3 years now and no one cares about my skin color.

Russians are very helpful people when you ask for help.

“Russia is too cold.” But little did they know that Canada is colder than Russia.
[Quote] how do you relocate to russia despite the interesting and wonderful situation in the country?, do you won a visa lottery? Bro show me the way
