The new German chancellor Olaf Scholz was invited to the white house yesterday by US president Joe biden where the two leaders held talks regarding Russia-ukraine crisis.

At a press conference after the meeting Joe biden made it clear that Russia should have a rethink or face the most severe economic sanctions ever imposed on Moscow.

Germany has agreed to stand side by side with US, America is also threatening to cut Nord stream 2 gas pipelines from Russia to Germany which will affect even the economy of Germany and other European countries as they depend heavily on energy supply from Russia, but this will cripple the economy of Russia more.

I don't think It will lead to world war III because Ukraine is not a member of NATO, US and other NATO countries will only provide weapons, they won't get involved directly
