Chisolove3: This is not about her husband or their marriage. It is about opportunity. When one partner have visa and leave, the other person still have 50-100% chances of joining the partner in Canada either by SOWP or PR. Now that she's starting all over again, both husband and wife have zero guarantee that they will get student visa or SOWP. A typical nigerian hustle guy that want to travel will think about that and say, let me go and you will join me later. I can even come and visit during school break. It seems applicant is blessed and privileged. He no easy to do bachelor's and masters in UK considering fees. We can only offer our tips on how to present best application for couple. The final decision is theirs as a couple and what she is trying to do is not impossible. They can get it. My knowledge and experience won't allow me to risk it. Love blossom with comfort and marriage to me is be my supporter and strength in my weakness, not let's suffer together. I come from a poor background. So na me go convince my wife to go if i were in their shoes. My anthem will be "I go join you soon or later. You just go for now. God forbid we both end up not leaving." However, i understand that past experience and knowledge sometimes limit our achievement because we become risk-adverse. So we should encourage her to do it if that is what she want and they can chest the consequences. 8 Likes |

What if I don’t add him? But still change my school?? Because honestly I understand people wanting me to pay the 2.7m school fees I won’t be using in the future, but it’s a lot of money. If I don’t add him but change my school and re apply for the visa, then he applies for Sowp. Would that work? Please did you get your ppr without paying the tuition deposit? |

Hello MrsOwoks To the bolded, even if she does her Medical examination a day before her delivery, she cant fail her Medical Examination.. I had an applicant, who applied when she was 2 months pregnant, she got her Visa when she was 6 months pregnant and gave birth in Canada.. So for those asking the question if pregnancy will lead to a refusal, the answer is a BIG NO.. Peace MrsOwoks: 2 Likes |

blessingflow:When applying to a college or a University in Canada to study and hope to apply for a PGWP after studies it is important to confirm if it is a designated learning institution and secondly if international graduates from that college or university are eligible for post graduation work permit ( for those interested in applying for pgwp). The bottom line is not all designated learning institutions in Canada are eligible for PGWP but all PGWP eligible institutions are designated learning institution. Below is a link to help you check if the school you intend to apply to will be able to qualify you for PGWP after studies . All you need to do after clicking is select the province where the school is located and search for the school and find if they qualify or not. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html 1 Like |

EuniqueBabe: There is no pros and cons anywhere Use the new portal. Old one is outdated. This is my first time of applying for a visa in Canada and I was surprised they are still doing outdated application process of filling forms. The new portal in Canada is what every advanced countries used for visa applications. I have applied for a visa in so many western nations. Again..use the new portal. 4 Likes |

I have noticed here it takes alot of time for a study permit visa application to be processed in Nigeria. Why is it so?. Is it peculiar to Nigerians or Africans only?. Because, when I did my biometric in Stockholm today. I asked the babe how many months to process my study permit application. She said 4 weeks maximum. I also noticed they don't ask for medical and police report in EU. Why are they giving applicants from Nigeria headache. 3 Likes |
