Job Role: Health & Safety Officer (Male/Female)

Job Category: Contract (Renewable)

Job Location: Agbara, Ogun State

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Reporting to the HSE Manager.
2. The incumbent will be involved with the implementation of policies relating to health, safety & environment in the workplace.
3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies.
4. Conduct HSE induction for new employees
5. Evaluate workplace activities for corrective measures implementation
6. Conduct toolbox meetings and drill when necessary
7. Monitor HSE system and programs
8. Disseminate information on safety to all department/discipline to alert them on specific hazards.

REQUIREMENT

• A good degree in food Science and Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2years of experience which must be in food industry.
• Relevant and adequate HSE professional qualification in the manufacturing/food industry would be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of GMP, QMS systems would be an added advantage.
• Excellent computer literacy is a pre-requisite.
