They do this a lot on bolt too. It's so annoying.
I got a request around Masha Surulere, the girl started texting me on the App, while I was driving towards her. "Where are you"? "I'm at so so place waiting for you". She repeated it on the text about 3 times. I just picked up my phone and called her. The first thing she said was; "Why are you not replying your text"? I told her I was driving and I can't be texting and driving. She said how do I expect her to know I was driving? I said it's easy to know. Just look at the App and see the car, whether it is moving or static. She said what if she doesn't know how to check it? I said ok. Don't worry, I'm almost at your location. She entered and started acting up.....hissing and vexing! I just started the trip and zoomed off.

Next time Sir avoid such riders for peace and sanity of mind otherwise 1star is ur portion. Riders don't like being corrected or being thought on how to do things even the so call American black migrants thinks they know it all and can't or shouldn't be corrected.

On Sunday I carried 4adults from landmark beach and their address was Okeho or something like that around Jakunde gate side I never knew these people doesn't know the way at all. 2 women and their 2 grown up sons. They'll I'm sure came for holidays.
The woman that requested the ride selected the wrong address while requesting but the other woman has the correct address on her Gmap n was following the ride on her phone but she never called on my attention even I was heading to the wrong address other from her own till we got to end point on Uber map.

If no be say na day time this women would have screw the hell outta me and call me a kidnapper. After many back and front and asking around I got the right address, tried to explain to them that they requested with the wrong address but madam no gree oohgrin okay update to the real address for where mama was still claiming right... Me I just lock up.

Dropped them off, fair ended 4.7k she gave me 6.5k and said for my stress. That's the only thing our black American migrants are good for... Them sabi bless us well well but don't make any attempt to correct them. gringrin how much more the real local black Nigerian occupantgringrin

Do you know the pot of obnoxious soup, uber is already brewing for you?
They have been more consistent than bolt. Its only wise to have them as backup as bolt is now asking drivers to make bricks without straw.

At this point I think it's time for us e hailing drivers to build our own app and support it unanimously.
Bolt is taking drivers for granted with their new policies.
Cos when bad routes destroy your cars and leave you stranded in unknown territory, they will still collect their commissions and register new drivers to replace you.
Non of their new policies put the drivers welfare into consideration.
It's always about their pockets.
In the meantime convert as much of your bolt client to offline clients and move en mass to uber and Indriver.
Till the new app owned and operated by ehailing drivers is ready.
Is there a new app being designed? We honestly can’t continue like this. I’ve not been able to work for 4 days now because of bad fuel and fuel pump issues.

For example your child writes an exam and scores 90% but has to wait for supplementary admissions list while my own kid wrote the same exact examination and scored 20% but his name is already displayed on the merit list?

After dropping off that lady I relaxed and took a deep breath and then continued.

Uber req 0.8km turned 1.8km on Gmap

Got to pick up... Chatted rider andnhe said he's coming... Going to airport

Uber app some times is annoying, if you don't get to the pin point location of the rider the wait time won't read meaning you won't be paid for waiting time.
That was how this rider took forever to come out oh.

While I was waiting he then chatted me that I should start the ride.

I checked his profile only to find out his rating was 4.3. I just thought in my mind na this kind person I go start him trip without him not being here? I didn't bother replying him.

After some time he came out and was behind... Used his box to scratch my point while trying to put it in the booth.

R: can you adjust this seat forward?
This man never even enter inside o he don dey order and complain already.

I adjusted tue seat forward... Is it okay?
Yes, thank you but lower the music I would be on a meeting.

I lowered it to an extent that I couldn't even hear it self yet this man said it's still loud I should off it.
I just turned it off.
Okay, I'm going to bristle helicopter the one at local airport, can we make it snappy cos I'm running late.
In my mind, I even want this trip to end as fast as possible so you I can block you by giving you 1star... How will a man be acting like this as if he was a woman.

I turnes on my Bluetooth earpiece and was playing gospel music.

Got to oworo diversion to Gbagada in less than 15min.

R: oga have you driven F1 b4?
I didn't answer but pretended like I didn't hear him, he repeated the question again.

I then removed my earpiece and said, you're talking to me?
R: yes, I was asking if you'd driven on F1 b4?
Me: why? I thought you said you've a flight to catch.
R: Nooo I'm not in a hurry again.
Me: its just the way I drive sometimes
R: I think I'll recommend you, you're wasting your talent.

Got to DO, stepped down to help him with his luggage b4 he go spoil my motor finish

R: okay thank you
Me: you're welcome Sir and do have a safe flight
Also, try work on your rating its very poor.

He smiled and left.

Ne i move

Some people just need to understand that certain jobs or businesses isn't for everybody . You have all sorts of crazy people wanting to drive with uber or bolt, touts, greedy goats and people with all sorts of lousy attitude. You see some begging online that they need a car for uber/bolt and when they get the car, they start complaining about not making enough money to deliver.
They don't make enough money because they are greedy touts who would turn down trips because they think the money will be too small. Some of them are so annoyingly rude to riders, asking all sorts of stu.pid questions when you order a ride and still call them because they'll refuse to call. You order a ride and call the driver's number and the phone is switched off. You can see that driver has arrived on the app, but you can't reach him and he won't call. Some will accumulate so much poor rating due to nasty attitude and then get blocked by bolt/uber. Then they come online to complain and lie about how they were unjustly blocked. They won't be able to deliver to the car owner because they are always turning down orders due to greed and overcalculation.
These are the types that create threads everywhere complaining about bolt/uber while other people doing same business are cashing out because they are well behaved, patient and know how to relate professionally. Some are so good that have met customers who hire them on offline trips and pay well.
When you hear about certain jobs or businesses, don't just jump into it. You need to use your head and look out for the qualities to posses to do such jobs or business. People generally need to learn how to be well behaved and this nonsense is very common with bolt drivers especially. Very nasty behaviour.

Ur not being very fair to the drivers.
They are the operators but they get treated like trash.
They take all the risks.
Even on your worst, most dangerous and high stress trips that damage your car bolt makes profit.
What's is bolts driver welfare policy?
They don't have any.
So on any journey you accept ur on your own.
With the added stress of threading on eggshells around entitled, and outright rude and nasty riders who use your upholstery to wipe their hands after eating.
You can't correct them so they don't rate you low.
Multiple times a day we drive on roads that so bad even animals avoid them, just to fulfil a ride.
I once took a rider tthrough a bad road around igbo efon.
The road was heavily flooded and the rocks on the road where so sharp they could tear your tyres.
I was wondering how someone could put another person's car through this, when I heard rider telling the person he was going to visit on the phone that because the road is bad he took a bolt so as not to destroy his car.
Yet bolt expects your car to be in tip top shape after every 4 months.
We all know that we are disposable to them as the country has high employment and poverty rates, these are what the E hailing companies especially bolt capitalize on .
They keep you busy pursuing peanuts to survive till they replace you.
How much does Uche or other bolt staff earn compared to drivers who actually do the work?
Let's face it driving under conditions giving by Bolt is stress and I am sure more than eighty percent of the divers on the platform will leave if a less stressful way of making 200k a month presents itself.
Most if us are in it till our exit plan materializes, let's not act as if the working conditions are comparable to google.
So allow those who want to complain to do so, it's the easiest way they can release stress by mouthing off and getting encouraged by others who go through the same thing but have found a way to live with it.

No vex Feli, but I don't see anything wrong here, except he didn't add please to it.

If the back is tight for him, it is normal for him to politely ask you to shift the chair forward.
If the radio or music will distract his online/phone meeting, it is normal to tell you to turn it off politely.

Put yourself in his shoes and tell me you won't do same.

And scratching your car wasn't intentional. Apologies for it though.(on his behalf smiley)

But they stopped issuing tinted permit.

They usually stop me and I tell them the above and they let me go. Except for one or two stubborn ones....and I insist too!
