Everything has to do with leadership. This agency started performing immediately the leadership changed. I believe the country can work with a change in leadership from the present charlatans to a pragmatic leader. |

Oga NDLEA stop these one sided report haba. If it's not Lagos it will be Anambra or Port Harcourt or Enugu. I stay in the North infact grew up here these end is a bloody drugs and addicts den so why can't you come over rather than focusing only on South or are you telling all drugs in the North came from the South? Abeg what is coming in from Niger, Chad etc is greater than what is coming in from South Mr ake we leave talk abeg. |

These importers are the ones killing the idea of coordinated wholesale and drug distribution centers in Nigeria! That idea of coordinated drug distribution was a very great one that would have helped checkmate the activities of these illicit drug dealers. It involves centralizing drug wholesales and distribution such that all the players in the drug wholesale and distribution business are stationed where regulation would be easier. These places would have police stations and NDLEA posts, and superintendent pharmacists would be supervising flow of drugs in these markets. That arrangement would help put a stop to the current bastardized system that gives room to faking of drugs and facilitates activities of illicit drug dealers! But as usual, that noble idea seems to have been killed! Imagine that NAFDAC doesn't even have access to our current open drug markets! The last time NAFDAC tried entering bridge head open drug market, they were attacked and chased away by these merchants of fake drugs and deaths! The reason why governments fold their arms and watch these guys send Nigerians to their early graves is what I cannot fathom. If the Coordinated whole centers were already in place, it would help lessen the burdens on NDLEA so that they'll concentrate on the higher classes of illicit drugs. I wonder why that noble idea has yet to take effect?!! Initially, 2019 was set as the deadline for implementation of that idea, this is 2022 and nobody hears anything about it anymore! Is Nigeria not cursed??!!!!! |

Codeine is a legal pharmaceutical product. It has its uses. It is not within the authority of NDLEA to seize legal pharmaceutical products. |

Much as I'm against anything illicit... I noticed that our "northern brothers as administrators" would do well clamping down on businesses the southerners strive. Terrorists are near invisible because they speak same language as almost all the administrators in charge of security. |
