lakesidepapa: What happened to uzoho ? So we must stick with Okoye bedsuse we don’t have a world class GK like Mendy ? I guess Burkina Faso Gabon capeverde GKs are all world class like mendy 3 Likes |

Kog45:I just weak at the mention of okoye because with him there is his a high percentage of we conceding with every shot on target from our opponent, because the defender's won't shield for the entire 90 minutes without him not facing some shot and so far his eaither the ball meets him at the back of the net or he him self meets the ball at the back of the net, once I see his name on the starting 11 against Ghana na to just buy more energy drink to quench hypertension because normally Nigeria game comes with tension 1 Like |

do4luv14:aloy agu is only giving them drills Best to his abilities and knowledge and practically they spend little bit of time together in the national team so he shouldn't get the blames for okoye's miscalculations due to him lacking in confidence why not also blame his goal keeper trainer's at his club who drill and train him everyday better for okoye to get his act straight and claim his confidence showing we can always count on him because he his our first choice or was arizabalaga not getting good goal keeper trainer's when he was performing poor now look at same arizabalaga making top class saves with better confidence after seating on the bench for someone who he was once rated highly than |

do4luv14:Carl Ikeme damn handsome with good body and till today fans rate him highly....so what Okoye fine face got to do with football talk even my safarigirl who always happy seeing fine faces wearing eagles jersey wasn't happy with his performance. Pls just tell me any remarkable performance from Okoye in GWG. My point is simple,Okoye in goal for eagles is not assuring and have been saying this before Afcon and my good friend Charlesemeka who rate him highly can testify.....During Afcon I said only Okoye will cost us and it came to pass. Sir,if Okoye comes good in GWG I will be glad,so this is not hating but football reasoning. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

do4luv14:and saying people hate him due to his looks doesn't hold water or looks childish for me because karl ikeme was quite Good looking and put a good shift for us with the little time we have the opportunity to have him man our post infact he made us not to feel the enyama exit that much am sure if it was okoye that directly replaced enyama with this kind of performance we would have lined up at enyama door steps to lay down and beg in fact he will be coming to the training with a private jet with nff paying for it 2 Likes |

Kog45: The Ghanaians would be happy to see Okoye in goal. Dede Ayew that shoots pretty well may just need some speculative shots to score against us.lol Okoye's confidence must have been battered to an extent after the Tunisia game. He doesn't need the pressure of the WCQ at the moment. Some players may be average for their clubs but beastly in the national team and viceversa...that's why relying on club performances alone can be misleading atimes. 1 Like 1 Share |

Many of us are so biased, our should I say sentimental towards Okoye as regard that goal, that nobody is saying anything about our defence giving the guy that space to play that shot, worst still some here had behind to imagine the worsted case scenario, should he keep against Ghana SMH 1 Like 1 Share |

do4luv14: They might be too harsh on Okoye but they aren’t bias Senegal and Egyptian defenders dey looseguard at times and their GK Dey save them ,not even ekuke type of shot like Tunisia own The defense have been making things easy for Okoye at the start of the tournament ,so why can’t he make things easy for them ? Did you even see the distance of that goal ? 8 Likes |

do4luv14: It’s not by age ,go and check the age of the Burkina Faso and Malawian GK and tell me they are experience as Carl Ikeme ,Okoye is even far rated than them but they make saves at the afcon that you will think they are top GK playing their trade at the epl Laliga and co So if Okoye keep against Ghana your mind rest ? It is well my broda ,Na coach go select and not anyone us 3 Likes |

andrewbaba44: No call Mendy and Gabaski those two are old and experienced, and both had been on top flight footy for many years, especially Gabaski, Okoye is just coming up, if that mistake is what had every every calling for his drop, being a young keeper, then let's go bring, both Ejide and Enyeama from retirement, since both can't make such mistake |

do4luv14: Burkina Faso GK is just coming up but he is very good ,he is 25 and not old They are too harsh on Okoye but when dem Dey insult akpeyi because of that Argentina error they weren’t harsh abi ? They even blamed akpeyi for a free kick that many GK won’t save 1 Like |

Being a national team goalkeeper is not just about age but also being the best regardless of age. Donnarumma that kept at the Euros is Okoye's age mate yet see how well he performed. At this last AFCON our defenders tried to limit the number of times he was tested. Nobody is saying Maduka should turn to Enyeama but make he dey make the basic saves na! is that too much to ask for? do4luv14: 5 Likes |

Stormtrooper11: Ayew is a bigger miss in my opinion which is good news for us. Iwobi's form at AFCON wasn't encouraging. But who is Iwobi's likely replacement? It means Nwakali could play a part in the first leg. |

Took just 3months to clear Ademola Lookman. Dude made official his desire to play for the eagles in mid November 2021, and also wrote to FIFA same month. Today, he has been cleared to play for Nigeria. Good news!! 8 Likes

I'm not expecting Lookman to start against Ghana in the first leg. It won't speak well of the Super Eagles team. |
