Pls how do I generate payment I ID from flywire. Just confused
Activateoluwase:

Generate payment ID from flywire corporation, then proceed to www.tradesystem.gov.ng to fill form A. I'll advice you email internationaladmissions@conestogac.on.ca tell them it takes several days before payment is initiated from Nigeria . That was what I did. Since last week Monday CBN as not debited my account. Conestoga keep sending mails, it seems they can't wait to celebrate with me. Lol grin

Wow! Thanks for this

Osemigho:

Look for summer student positions on your school page or indeed.ca.

On indeed.ca, type ".... summer student" and fill the gap with your program or field name e.g Construction summer student, IT summer student, HR summer student, etc. Put the location to your city or change it to Canada to see positions available in other places. Then search. You will see summer student positions available to you. Some might allow you to work remotely. Remember to begin your search around by January. You don't have to do it everyday. Once a week is fine.

God did, to Him be all the Glory!!!

Started my school application around April last year. I applied to 3 colleges and I got admissions for the 3. I had to choose one against others around June. I couldn't apply for visa early due to some family stuff. Both school application and visa were done by me. I was also assisted in getting schools to apply to by my sister who is in Canada and I then applied to them. My program was for January this year but I applied for visa in November and I had to defer cz I wasn't going for online classes. I got my new letter of admission after 2 days and that same day I submitted it to IRCC through webform. I didn't get any notification that they received it though but,a,,# I trusted God that it went smoothly to them. God helped me, He guided me and He made everything easy for me. I am eternally grateful to God!! This afternoon I reminded God that there shall be no delay nor denial cz that has been my request to Him since the beginning. He did it!!

Timeline:

Well, I think applying for both visas at entirely different times would have been better. Applying for Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP) and visitors visa within thesame period of time may give the VO an impression that you wouldn't come back again. It shows some elements of desperation.

But however, I so much believe in the grace of God. Wait for a decision to be taken as regards your SOWP application, then and then you would know the further steps to take.

Kindly keep us informed on the outcome...it will end in your favor.

Good evening house. I hope we are doing well.

I have a friend who wants to come into Canada as a student, she is to be sponsored by her company. She has all documents which includes letter of sponsorship from company, company ID card, employment letter. But one thing she doesn’t have is the payslip from the company, she said agents said she needs that or her application won’t be approved.
Can someone please shed more light on this. Thank you.

Please check the program website. Fall 2022 is waitlisted and they should open January 2023 admission by March ending/early April. The program admission is competitive. So check the website and make sure you meet and gather its requirements if you are interested.

About masters, sure you will be able to use it to get masters admision as Bachelors degree is usually a requirement for that. However, you should not go for that striaght after you Bachelors. Get your 2-3 years PGWP and work. Canadian employers value experience more than education. However, they are more generous to fresh bachelor's and diploma graduate. Get the experience first and you can go back for your masters later. All the best.

Thank you so much. I will apply and hoping to get admission. Please would you reply my email so I will update you about every steps. And please I'm married and can I apply for study permit and visiting visa for my husband as accompany spouse. We have children and aged parents and siblings as home ties. For my husband to be around me for the first 3 to 4 months of my stay settlement in Canada.

Congrats to everyone who has received their good news this week.

Dear gurus,I have one big question, though it’s not really student visa related.
How does one correct a misrepresentation?
Like the person applied visiting visa years back, filled that he has Bsc where as he doesn’t and now wants to apply for visiting(wife is in Canada already) Do they write letter of explanation to explain or use an immigration lawyer?

Look at this from a very basic point and not even from the perspective of a visa officer or any authority. Why will I believe a prospective student that a company is willing to sponsor a her abroad without proof that she actually works for the said company? Being employed in a company goes beyond showing employment letter and staff ID card, I can stay in my house and produce those.
What has this staff got to show that their employment is ongoing, on what basis is the company willing to sponsor her? How is this particular staff different from others? Are there tax records/documents to show tax deductions from salary? So many questions to be asked.
Unless this is a scholarship scheme by the company which will even need to be proved beyond reasonable doubt, there is need to show concrete affiliations with the said company.

What happens to your children in those first 3/4 months that both you and your husband will potentially be away? This is something to think about if your husband applies for a VV's at the same time you apply for your student's visa.
If your consideration was to go with the kids, it would be a no brainer.

Hello everyone, please i need some input here. I have a friend who currently got her student visa approved. So here is the issue, her school starts in May, she’s currently pregnant and due in july. She applied alone without her family and plans to do that after she gets here. The province her school is at,she doesn’t have anyone to help her out incase anything comes up as per the pregnancy. Is it possible for her to apply to another school in my province and switch schools when she gets here. So she can atleast have a family (me) around to help out when the baby comes.
Thanks in advance for your advice

Hello JNATH

First, when choosing a sponsor, please if you are not gonna use your parents, then use any of your immediate family members to be your sponsor.. Don't be pushed by just using anyone you don't know or have relationship with as your sponsor..

As for your sponsor, what does he do, does he have a regular and consistent income? if so, I will advise you exercise patient and give him time to work on his SOA at least for some months...

You as the applicant, you also need to work on your SOA cos you will have to submit it for your study Visa application...

If you want my professional service for your application, you can contact me via my email address on my profile..

Peace

Hello quin9

You get to have a chance of correcting a misinterpretation when IRCC sends you a PFL, which in most cases doesn't end well if you are not really convincing with your explanation on why you gave them a false information in the first place..

That is why I always encourage applicants not to give false information when applying for any Canada Visa(not just study visa), cos IRCC are very good in keeping records of applicants, that is why every applicant have a UCI..

If by any reason you have to hide some information about yourself when applying, that means you will have to remain silent about such information for life, that's if you are still in the process of getting a Canadian Visa or you are in Canada..

Peace

She has a letter from the company giving her a promotion but in the sense that she completes a degree abroad first. The company has provided a letter of sponsorship to sponsor all the necessary fees and her cost of living

Hello dikadubai

The bolded is not a good move though, If I am a Visa Officer, I will refuse your application..

Why will you wanna leave your Children behind, except the kids are above 18 years of year, even at that, every child will always need their parents around them.. Applying with your hubby and Leaving your Kids behind is a Bad move, you can go with your kids and leave your hubby behind, that is still okay.. We have seen female applicants with kids from age 1 - 5 going with their Kids and their Hubby later Join them..

This is my advice for you, apply for a study Visa alone.. When you get your study Visa, then you can now apply for a visiting Visa for your Kids and a spousal permit for your hubby.. That is what most married applicants do, and we see testimonies of their PPR here on this thread..

Like I always say, when applying for a study permit Visa, you have to think like a Visa Officer

So annoying, since last week Monday they have not debited my account and yesterday was the deadline to balance up my first semester tuition fees to conestoga college. I Already sent a mail to them anyways undecided
What’s the status of your TRMS form? Is it showing “ with ADB reviewer or ADB Supervisor? And which bank did you use as your Authorized dealer bank? If it is showing ADB reviewer or supervisor , then hurry up to the bank with your TRMS pdf saved page, certificate, Int’l passport, letter of acceptance showing your details and then payment instruction from CIBC , Flywire or other paying channel and meet your customer care department or forex department. They will follow up with your AF number and give you tentative date when your account will be debited. If you use GTB, it will almost one month, if you use first Bank , it will take more than one month. So always use banks with less traffic like FCMB, Sterling bank, arewa bank, keystone etc and banks that are known for good international payment like UBA. I applied since on the 13th of January and just got debited on the 9th of February when it was my deadline for payment of tuition balance. I didn’t know that I have to go to my ADB to be disturbing them after applying on TRMS website thinking that it will be automatic, it was later on I searched online and I saw from websites that you have to keep disturbing your ADB with your AF numbers , so I started that just two weeks ago and my bank replied me with a tentative date when the money will taken from my account and the time too. So it happened on the exact date and time . So I am waiting for the school and the CIBC to send me notifications that they have seen my payment and I will forward it to IRCC as part of tuition fee balance payment as instructed on letter of acceptance by my school. I am due to resume school by May 9 and applied for visa since January 4th. Still on background check is processing we will notify you if we need more information from you. I ordered for my GCMS note last week. I did medical upfront and it was updated to pass on January 17 and background check commenced on 21st

Hello Omiinii

This is not totally correct though, any one that got PPR with a one year course can actaully apply for a study permit extension if he or she wanna further with probably another year program..

I have many peeps who got to Canada with a year course and they are still there even after 6 - 7 years..

Those with a year course can apply for a study permit extension after getting admission for another year course, and this will give them more than a year PGWP..

Peace
Omiinii:
Even lawyers wouldn't advise you to go for a program that only guarantees 1 year PGWP. Everyone's goal is different. Some just want to get the canada. Whatever happens afterwards doesn't concern them while some want to benefit as well by gaining status. PR/Citizenship. If your goal is the latter, A 1 year program shouldn't even be on your radar. Get it right. There's nothing to leverage with a one year PGWP. No need for me to even explicate further.
