mostob: NFF General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi, in response said: “We sent in the application on Wednesday night after putting all the necessary documentation together. We are happy to receive the approval today. I said this earlier, a player commits to a new National team, he sends his written letter of change of allegiance/ nationality CONFIRMATION. It is then the duty of the national football association to submit the application after completing all due diligence to FIFA. Once again Ovie and Ademola made that commitment over three years ago. But the NFF did NOTHING I wonder why ❓ But have been giving false narratives that the English FA is delaying approval. Utter balderdash. We then have some highly ignorant and misguided individuals promoting that narrative right here. FYI Ovie and Ademola went on trials for Nigeria U17 but were rejected by the NFF after high recommendations by the coordinator in the UK . Eberechi Eze made commitment to Nigeria but they left him in the dark for three year's. He then decided to play U21 for England. The reality is there is no integrity in the NFF add to all that Godfatherism, Nepotism, Corruption, Favouritism and crass Incompetence. And all this is not surprising to me AT ALL 1 Like |

andrewbaba44:You’re disrespectful & spewing trash. Recency bias I see Is he going to bench Simon or Chukwueze? You must be joking if you think Eguavon & Amunike will drop Musa & Iwobi for the new transplant. He’d get his chance after the World Cup when Musa retires There’s really no space for most of these new international switches. Quote me when we play Ghana |

komekn: In that particular set, most paid for the preliminary MRI test. That was why Kanu Nwankwo paid for many of the boys screening. It was a move by the NFF not to wait for the CAF screening before doing theirs, to prevent CAF screening out an already prepared team just before the competition. So the scan cost N100,000 and Obinwa came in from America, so he was not listed among those covered by sponsors. Note some agents also paid for screening. When the result came out, Obinwa failed the screening. It did not mean he was overage. Keep in mind, they used strict requirements. So the mother asking for the scans was out of the question because what criteria will they use to ascertain. |

yinkeys: You are highly RETROGRESSIVE you are the typical reason why Nigeria is in the doldrums . Stick with Buhari because he has been there the longest. Longevity is not competence, I think you need to be re-educated. Musa is over has nothing to offer, he is old fire wood. 8 Likes |

komekn: That is a bloody lie. It is impossible. This is what I keep talking about you. You make so many statements that you know nothing about. How can you make such an audacious lie? It is unscientific. Something 16 years old fail, 21 plus will pass. Show me one medical report or article that supports this as you posted here. You talk about integrity but you make lies because of your hatred for local-born players. I am ashamed of this statement from you. 2 Likes |

komekn: I saw that Gossip article you posted there. No name of source, no name of NFF official, no direct quote. Just someone like you making noise about something he does not understand. That an NFF official called for a rescreening. The writer is a joker. Who will foot the bills? The NFF? Sometimes you should reason. Will the scan change the fusion of the Bones? It was just a fake article and you ran with it because it suits your agenda. |

komekn:Okay You seem pained. Wait till the list gets out. You want to dump the loyal captain that has positively served the country for 9 years for new international switches. He’s an integral part of the team These transplants are coming in a game or two away from World Cup. Your statement is a joke. I can assure you Musa & Ekong have automatic spots in the WC once we qualify You’re simply spewing rubbish |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 9:45am On Feb 11, 2022 |
TheGoodJoe: Transparency and integrity requires you submit your findings for inspection , they refused WHY. She would have had the tests results verified professionally very easily by comparison by carrying on out an additional MRI scan . And that would have exposed the NFF . When I had my ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction) more than one MRI scan was requested because my surgeon needed more clarity. It's not abnormal to ask for your MRI scan results, if you paid for them they are yours not the NFF, making a copy for the player is routine not contentious. But of course it's the NFF what do we expect. |

andrewbaba44:He’s not an integral part of the team You guys are arguing football with emotions Like I said he’d get his chance next year. You seem to not understand that there’s always politics in every iota of human interaction. It’s funny you guys think Eguavon & Amunike will automatically drop players instantly for new international switches. Musa has proved himself in 2 world cups. Musa & Ekong get called up instantly once we qualify. In short those are the first two names you’d see on that list |

yinkeys: Your position in any organisation in is by merit not longevity. And that should be the case with the national team as well. Competence is not by age. You are a retrogressive and backward people like you cannot institute progression. You rather remain in mediocrity. Thats how sent a highly incapable Echiejele to world cup . 1 Like |

komekn: You are just dribbling. No one is doubting Obinwa was 16. He was not the only underage player that failed. The question is, is she collecting the screens to prove he was 16 and the scans stay as evidence for the NFF. He did not meet the criteria not that he was overage. There is a degree of fusion the NFF worked with. That was why Ndidi was dropped. Not because he was overage. In Ghana, 3 16 year olds failed too despite proof they were 16. So why did you lie that 21+ will pass due to stunted growth. Na was for you. You can lie O! Mr. Integrity. 1 Like

TheGoodJoe: Years ago I took out a peer review medical journal published and made some extracts. Making it very clear that environmental background impacts dramatically on age bone Fusion. We know that malnutrition impacts on growth. You will not compare a boy growing up in the USA with high in protein diet, enhanced environment background including health and medical care. With one in a highly challenged socio economic one in Nigeria, where to eat a quality meal is a big challenge. We will not even talk about medical care and a healthy environment. But I can't be bothered by with you today. |

komekn:There’s already growing competition Forwards: Osimhen, Onuachu, Awoniyi, Dennis, Moses, Iwobi, Chukwueze, Iheanacho, Ejuke, Musa I don’t even know how the coaches would accommodate Lookman even after dropping Olayinka, Sadiq etc Injured players like Etebo will be back to fight for midfield shirt too. |

yinkeys: The person arguing with emotions is clear here Musa has prove himself at 2 World Cup means he should always be on the team because of past glory Is it not same musa that they benched at the afcon ? Even ejuke is ahead of him So the whole team that made it to the afcon should be the only team continue playing ? He should get a chance next year because you said so ? You are speaking like a typical egunje coach Rest man ,I don’t see reason discussing football with a better parlour analyst like you Musa wey go complete numbers for afcon 3 Likes |

komekn: It is a big lie. Show me the journal that said 21 plus. That is a bloody lie. Before MRI screening became widely accepted by FIFA, one of the reason was the high degree of accuracy even when you consider factors like stunted growth or poor nutrition. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by do4luv14(m): 10:01am On Feb 11, 2022 |
TheGoodJoe: It's good that you explained it to him, I think the reason he said what he said was that, the said Obinwa was born in the US right, so for him to fail that test, and the Nff official refusing to show her prove of her son failed test, especially when she paid for it, is a no no, atleast they should had mailed her a copy, if it's you definitely, you did suspect foul play, |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:02am On Feb 11, 2022 |
komekn: This is just layman talk. The screening was selected by top experts due to it's high accuracy. Young players can fail to pass but it is very difficult for overage players to pass the accuracy is too high on that. Finito. |

Longneck: Actually there were several. First Aina got turned, chased him back blocked him off and showed him inside, while he covered his right side, from the Egyptian player coming from his right wing , Ndidi failed to tackle the player, Omeruo failed to close him down and Okoye failed to save. do4luv14: I have explained this years ago to komekn. He is just bringing it up to push his false narrative. He hates the home-based players and looks for means to tarnish their images. I have explained this thing in-depth years ago to him, quoting peer-review articles. He knows but will still bring it up months or years for now. This is no more someone being skeptical but trying to push his hatred. There is nothing I stated now that he has not heard from me or TheSuperNerd. Yet, he talks about Integrity. 1 Like 1 Share |
