Hi all A friend of mine is preparing to submit his documents for OINP. Is it okay to use just fixed deposit certificate for POF ? I’m aware it’s very much valid for FSW, but I just wanted to double check if he’s good to go with the FD certificate from his naija bank Thanks 2 Likes |

aussielover:Yeah I used FD for OINP and got nominated. If the FD is less than a year old, I'd suggest he shows source of funds. Mine was only a few days old so I submitted giftdeed, bank statement to show transfer then the FD certificate. If he's had the FD for a while then the FD certificate should be enough. OINP has FD certificate listed as an acceptable proof of funds. I think I read it in their application guidelines, you can google it. 1 Like |

Hi all, I recently got my PPR and I was wondering if someone can help me outline the process of submitting my passport to VFS Lagos, as I’m currently in Abuja. What documents do I need? Also do I need to submit a copy the biometrics acknowledgment. Thanks in advance. 2 Likes |

FD is acceptable. However, gift deed and bank statement should follow especially if the FD is less than 6month.(These are what i used and i got nomination) aussielover: 1 Like |

GeneralZod1: Where did you do your biometrics? 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by valves: 11:00pm On Feb 09, 2022 |
GeneralZod1: Read your PPR mail carefully. Almost all documents you need to submit are mentioned. In my case (I'm a single applicant), these are the document I submitted: 1. Print out of PPR email. 2. Two passport photos. (Ensure that you follow the specification provided in the PPR mail). 3. My height and eye colour info. (There is a height and eye colour chart section in your PPR email. You can print that page and fill). 4. My International passport. 5. CVAC form (I filled only page 2 of the form). 6. Either a or b below depending on where you did your biometric: a. If Lagos is where you did your biometric, you need to submit the biometric acknowledgement/slip that was given to you after you did your biometric. b. If Lagos is not where you did your biometric, you need to pay transmission fee and provide Evidence of payment of transmission fees. Although I did my biometric in Lagos, I decided to pay transmission fees because I couldn't find my biometric slip and didn't want to take chances. Package all the above document in an envelope and courier it to VFS Lagos office at: Visa Application Centre Ground Floor, The Manor Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Lekki Phase 1 Lagos Nigeria. You can use any of the courier services around you. The most reliable from experience are DHL and UPS. It is recommended that you pay for two-way delivery (not one-way), so that the passport will be delivered to your address when it comes back. Get your tracking details for the courier service used and monitor until it is received at VFS Lagos. Once your package gets to VFS Lagos, you'll be notified via email. The email will also contain your VFS tracking details, which you'll use to track the movement of your package to IRCC. Once again, ensure you read the email carefully especially if you're not a single applicant because there might be some very minor variations. 32 Likes 13 Shares |

Greetings everyone, After I got married post PPR, I made an enquiry on my visa office recently and just yesterday, I received a response that my application is currently at the IRCC local office in Montreal, Quebec (My VO was formerly Ottawa as a single applicant). I thought it would be Accra VO since that had become a trend for folks in Nigeria who got married post AOR/COPR as per interview and co. Now, I haven't heard much about Montreal VO and the little experiences of other people with Montreal on NL isn't too encouraging. What's your general perception about Montreal? Have they improved of recent with respect to their previous M.O.(Modus Operandi). Finally, my wife's medicals was passed 14th January, and still waiting for BIL. Does it take that long for spouses to be issued BIL because I thought it would be an immediate request? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Please at what point during the application process can I relax and stop having this fear of rejected application due to incomplete documents. I know I submitted everything but I keep thinking of possible mistakes every blessed day and giving myself panic attacks. Is this how I'm going to feel until PPR? 1 Like |

tolakadupe:Phew, thanks. Blesso222:Wow never knew Quebec gives ITA to Nigerians. The program isn't discussed here a lot cos not a lot of people get it here. Just incase you don't get much direction here, I think I once saw a forum for Quebec but it was on canadavisa.com. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/search/14691931/?q=Quebec+ITA&o=relevance Read the more recent threads. |

Good morning everyone. Please i have a question. I evaluated Bsc and Acca to give marks for 2 or more certificates. I'd be taking Tef soon but have decided to use it for OINP french speaking stream. Can i remove the Acca on my EE profile to fall in the cut off range for OINP? Wouldn't this pose a problem, considering the fact that it was evaluated by Wes when submitting documents? 1 Like |

rawe45:That site is so frustrating. You can get an error message 50 times before it finally logs you in. Just that I can't remember if this was the exact message I was getting. I switched to more stable internet (mtn to airtel) and started logging in around midnight only. Try this first b4 you contact OINP. Even when you finally log in, it would log you out anytime your internet shakes small and all the info you suffered to enter will disappear, so try to use a stronger internet for all your OINP business. |

Please my people, the work history part of OINP where they asked us to put our paid work for the past 10 years, Am I supposed to start from my current job down to NYSC since I was still in school 10 years ago? also my work timeline reads: NYSC: NOC 4031 next job : NOC 6551 Next job: NOC 2172 ( which i'm claiming points for) 3 years and 4 months current job: NOC0124 I hope after filling all these there they won't ask me for reference from all of them. I have refrence from my immediate past job and my current job. Please somebody help me with what to do about that part please so I can move forward. Thank you in anticipation. |
