N5000 stipend for the poorest Nigerians AS part of its Social Investment Programmes, the Federal Government recently commenced the payment of N5,000 monthly stipend to some of the poorest and most vulnerable persons in the country, to cushion the effect of hunger that has been their lot over the years. The social safety net programme implemented through a Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) system is a fulfillment of one of the campaign promises of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government. The scheme has commenced in three states, namely Borno, Kwara, Bauchi, with another six states: Ekiti, Cross Rivers, Niger, Kogi, Oyo, and Ogun............... https://www.sunnewsonline.com/n5000-stipend-for-the-poorest-nigerians/ 1 Like |

How we selected beneficiaries of N5,000 stipend to poorest Nigerians- Presidency Details are emerging on how the Federal Government determined the beneficiaries of the Conditional Cash Transfer who are now receiving the N5,000 monthly stipends across the 9 pilot states. According to the Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity in the Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande, the nine states are Bauchi, Borno, Cross Rivers, Ekiti, Kwara, Kogi, Niger, Osun and Oyo. Mr. Akande clarified that reference to Ogun, instead of Osun-among the pilot states- in his last press statement on the issue was a typo. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/219926-selected-beneficiaries-n5000-stipend-poorest-nigerians-presidency.html Everyone knows that Osun is poorer than Ogun... All those IGR and VAT noise makers have all disappeared... CC Slydev 3 Likes |

Afonjas are worst than Alamajiris in Zamfara but they use their media to always package themselves as doing well. Same way they package themselves as the most educated but facts on ground say it's Igbos. Same way they are using their media to tell us now that ritual killings is happening across the country, when we all know it's mostly in SW, as we read here everyday. Go to Osun, Ekiti, Osun and Ogun and see for yourselves, the decrepit nature of these states, abject poverty and unemployed young men roaming around, you will be wondering where are all these IGRs coming from? I can't even find a 2-star hotel to lodge in these states let alone 4-star that are over 200 in Anambra and Imo, with people packed and no space. The day Nigeria will break, is when they will be exposed but again, they know, which is why they don't want Nigeria to break. 13 Likes 5 Shares

It's nice to know that my region and state is benefiting from the government social investment, south west is poor and actually needs more attention from the government. I just hope the "rich" states with 1 billionaire per kilometer won't start crying marginalization as usual. 4 Likes 1 Share |

slydev....was begging stupidly yesterday when threads concerning deplorable and heinous skull mining activities where discussed. The zombie even mentioned me and asked that i should soft pedal, when countering their useless narratives. I blew him off, but as cow brained miscreants he couldn't resist the urge to post rubbish again against IGBO people, who incidentally Feed the useless Lagos they keep scrambling for relevance. Concerning treachery... Oduduwa is Lucifer who was ejected from heaven for treachery Afonja was a treacherous person Awolowo was a useless and super treacherous miscreant MKO Abiola "a treacherous coup" plotter wanted to be President ..Imagine Tinubu Escobar wans to be President.. Nyanmiris are looking for everyway to measure dicks with Yorùbás. Who doesn't know that yeebos are economic migrants. Even the poorest of the north avoid east and rather come to west to hustle. If not inferiority, how would someone be subjecting his backward region to public ridicule in the name of comparisons. Poverty is when you have more yeebos outside east than the numbers of yeebos living in east. If you're so sure of yourself, why striving for relevance? Why not let everyone do their thing and see who's truly poor in Southern Nigeria. You don't have to keep looking for who to compete with. You don't even have sense at all. You claim southwest is 'poor', yet there's a daily influx of nyanmiris to the same west. Part of southwest greatness is the same nairaland that has allowed y'all to denigrate Yorùbá on it without much trouble. You think you have sense but na you mumu pass for the whole world. 4 Likes 1 Share
