hello house,
Please can the expert in the house recommend a family car. I don't want an SUV.

Family of 5, we have outgrown our current sedan

I am considering the Sienna 2011 and the Previa 2011 model upwards. The Corolla Verso would have been ideal but the last row is too small.

My issue with the Sienna 2011 upwards is, it's too big and long while the Previa doesn't seem to be common here in Nigeria, save for the lower models used for Transport service (my main concern bothers on parts availability and competent mechanics for it)

1. Is the Previa 2011 model upward a good car?

2. Please Can more recommendations be made for 3 Row family car factoring in ease of getting parts and availability of competent mechanics

Opel Zafira.

Thanks, This doesnt have a contemporary look and commonly used for Transport service. This is also the reason why i haven't considered Sienna 2005-2010 models.

I dont want something very big nor flashy, one of the reasons for not considering SUV.

Buy a Volvo XC90 and rest. It's a good reliable SUV with 3rd rows and it isn't flashy, not a robber magnet parts and technicians know how are okay too

Mazda MVP or Honda Odyssey are your best bet or you can still consider the Opel zafira

I would have also name the Toyota picnic if you are comfortable with a small space

Thanks just checked the review on Youtube for this XC90 and Rav4. The leg room is kinda of tight and they are SUV's.

whats your thoughts on the Previa 2011.

Buy the sienna and have rest of mind, parts are readily available, enough room for the family it's an 8 sitter, your other car can be used for daily activity, while you use the sienna for whole family activity.I was using an RX330 2006,my family increased,I took the sienna 2012 V6 SE,I didn't regret it.

Previa is not a north America model car sha, it's good if you get the 2.4L or 3.5L engines, they are very popular engi6 indeed. I am not sure of body parts as they are rare on the roads.

But saying the leg room in the volvo is tight, nah not right very okay for adults I pitched SUV because most space bus you like are used for transportation and you don't want those.

The Sienna 2011 upwards is a much better option than Previa 2011 upward in terms of looks, feel, durability, reliability and resale-ability.
Both have low ground clearance level.

Other space wagon options are Mazda MPV, Honda Odyssey, Nissan Quest.

Nature of Nigeria road should also be considered when choosing a vehicle.

Volvo XC70
Subaru Outback
Dodge Grand Caravan/Chrysler Town and Country

A 3 row vehicle is either a SUV or Minivan.
The only few 3 row hatchback in the market that is readily available will be the Subaru Outback, Forrester, and XC70.

The most common Minivans are Siena, Odyssey, Grand Caravan

I don't know about European Vans, make a pick from the list and you should be Ok
