Most of these small town hotel prices ranges from 80-200 Ghana cedis per a night and mumu man is ranting about it.

He should try sleeping in hotels in the cities and he will know his smoothness level.

Just one shop government closed down oga won't allow people sleep, he is all over the place talking trash about Ghana and Ghanaians grin grin grin

So which of them can you afford?

going by this your baby argument that's lacking in common sense and basic logic.. so if law schools have their own accepted "computer language " like you're trying to tell us here, why then the reason for failing over 2000 students was the use of computer language but I heard on citifm that they copied their exam work from the internet.
Maybe the use of "computer language " was to sound political correct so as to preserve the image of an institution whose applicants stole their exam work from the cyberspace

Read properly Sammy, SAs GDP per capita is 3 times higher than Nigeria....it's not smaller wink

It’s does t reflect to the rest of your population, just a meagre 6% of ruling class which apparently are mostly non -black.you are the most unequal zoo on planet earth.by all means try not to forget that.

Nigeria has averaged a poor 2.5% economic growth over the last 10 years.....just slightly better than SA....However Nigeria's population is growing by 2.5% per annum while SAs population is growing at only 1.3%.....meaning even with our economic struggles our GDP per capita has increased while yours has stagnated.

Also SA is a upper middle income country, Nigeria is lower middle income country

You forgot to add you are the world most unequal zoo meaning your illusory wealth and gdp per capita doesn’t reflect on a large chunk of the populace ,just the wealthy getting wealthier and the poor getting poorer.

It's not just manufacturing - but educated person is better farmer or better hotelier or a better in ABC-Z of human economic activities. Of course IQ also play a part - which is where nutrition kicks in - and good health - so before education the country also needs to eliminate malnutrition that leads to lifelong mental stunting - and all the diseases limit human potential to be efficient and productive.

If Africa eliminate the nearly 30 percent malnutrition - eliminating mental stunting in the process- it's IQ would rise by similar margin to 100 - which would good base for a healthy and productive human able to meet their total potential.

Small countries dont need to industralize to become developed. They can shift directly to service sector like Mauritus has done - becoming a financial, IT and tourism hub.

For more populated countries - yes manufacturing is critical because it produces that mutliplier effect - one job - creating 10 indirect jobs - that you need to lift many boats.

GeneralDae:

Facts. Education is the key and not just the conventional style of education but vocational skill learning, software training, and training in Entrepreneurship. China didn't just get formal education alone from the U.S, they acquired practical skills. They supported the section of their populace who possessed practical skills even when their products were substandard.

This is another small difference between the Chinese and the Indians. The chinese may not be taking over big software companies like the Indians or working in oil rigs like they are doing, but they have every section of their population manufacturing some of the most little things you can think of.

Also with Germany, you'll see there's almost nothing the Germans don't do for themselves even with the plethora of American companies in Germany.

Indigenous manufacturing is the way to wealth for any nation.

we've gone through this before, the poverty figure in SA is one of the lowest in Africa .... Meaning although we are unequal South Africans are still way better off than most of Africa including Nigeria

they didn't fail, they just didn't get accepted into the school because the school had limited space for that much student..

You heard from city FM where?
You can refer to Vankelvin quote to learn what computer language means ... It doesn't mean copy.

You can read and watch this to educate yourself

You can listen to the students yourself and learn

Lagos could do with better airport if - not three more airports. Why does Abuja need brand new airport - and all the whistles. Nigeria need to feed the cow that produce the milk (Lagos) - and leave the Fulani cow of Abuja to roam the streets.

Nigeria is not all about Lagos,
Abuja is the seat of power and should spot better infrastructures than Lagos.
But due to the federal system of Govt, every state has something unique that other states don't have. We develop all part of the country, unlike most African countries doing one city development.

BTW, you sounded like a jealous house wife in your post, try to behave like a man when you see something shocking next time.

I googled but only see this: [

This was between PAN Nigeria (Peugeot), NTM, Kano (Sino-truck), Styre Bauchi (Agricultural Tractors), ANNAMCO Enugu (Mercedes Trucks), Leyland Ibadan (BUSAN Commercial Vehicles), and Innoson Motors Manufacturing (Buses, SUVs, and Cars).
