Honestly, I have no idea why a country can be producing quality strikers on a weekly basis but cannot produce enough Attacking or center Midfielders. The midfield position is the engine of a team and without a solid midfield, your team will remain imbalanced. For now, we only have Ndidi, aribo, etebo, frank, Nwakali and iwobi at our disposal 1 Like |

komekn: There is nothing comedic. You were talking of players making their luck. I am using one of the greatest the game has ever seen. If he could not make it work for him due to conditions, why do you want someone with less pedigree to make his luck. You are proving my point. |

Onyedika Alhassan Yusuf Nwobodo Yet we're after Eze and Olise begging them. For club football, money and other things might be the motivation but for country, it's passion. At the end of the day, these FBs will be playing for us out of pity and not for love and passion. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe:Thierry Henry with 3 goals in 16 appearances in 6 months at Juventus is a flop to you? Diego Forlan with 10 league goals in 63 appearances for Manchester united is a flop to you? Kelechi Nwakali is not a career flop at all his clubs according to you, your hypocrisy is unbelievable 3 Likes |

Karlovych: I do not get your point. I am not in anyway criticising Henry if that is the idea you are getting. I am actually clearing an opinion. It was from Thierry Henry I learnt that a player not performing to the best of his capability does not mean the player is not good. The team I support in France is Monaco, due to one of our elite players, Victor Ikpeba. In his team, Henry was a young wizard. Quality players and was part of the World Cup winning squad. As a fan of Henry, I had big expectations from his move to Juventus. He flopped and I wondered how such a good player will flop. He went to Arsenal and Wenger who was his coach at Monaco changed his role and position. He became one of the deadliest forwards in the history of football. I learnt a big lesson about how tactics and position can undermine the true quality of a player. |

Karlovych: From Daily Mail Forlan's dream move to Old Trafford in January 2002 quickly turned sour as critics began to question his ability and it took him an agonising eight months to grab his first goal for Sir Alex Ferguson's men. He believes he struggled in England due to Ferguson's policy of rotating his players. Forlan told PA International: "You need to play all the games for the full 90 minutes and that will then give you a chance to find your feet. "When you are on the bench you are not finding the rhythm of the game and this also has a knock-on effect with your confidence. "When you play one game and don't score you then wonder if you are going to be in the team the next week and it dents your self-belief." https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-338633/Flop-Forlan-turns-goal-machine.html I am not throwing darts at Forlan, I am explaining that situations can make a good player look poor. I felt excited when Forlan joined Manchester United after watching him play for Uruguay in Nigeria 99. He was brilliant for his country then. He had a tough time in Manchester United but I never gave up my belief in his quality. Manchester United fans used to ask me what I saw in this Forlan and I kept hammering he was brilliant in Nigeria 99. Under Pellegrini at Villarreal, he became one of the best forwards in European football. If you read his words, you see why I point to systems and factors affecting players and why lots of komekn's theories are wrong. |

Karlovych: That is why you can see me stand behind players like Iheanacho, Osimhen, Sadiq, and Nwakali because I know with the right factors in place, the player can do better. |

TheGoodJoe:This your analysis is pointless, what do you mean that situations can make a play look poor? As if it is not situations that make players look good as well. You labeled his decent Stat at man utd flop but you fail to use the same bar for the players you constantly hype here. |
