TheGoodJoe: Ohhh you're forgotten so soon You have forgotten his woes with levante You forgotten his injury prior to world cup, he sat on levante bench for a whole season and you expect him to get back to form easily, then you must be joking , during his woes was when kalu bagged a move to Bordeaux, kalu literally made us forget about Simon moses, and don't forget Simon was so instrumental for us the last afcon his late assist gave us a late winner against south Africa, and also omerou another assist in the tournament, Simon Moses best performance were in rohr's era, so you have absolutely no point!!!. I also will care to know the delusional fellow that wanted him to be drop for the team, cos he played solely to rohr's instructions and club wise he is so good and I could remember someone saying "Simon is our best winger" 1 Like

kingphilip: Is it ignorance or is it delusional or even just a lack of basic understanding. Corruption is endemic and institutionalised in our dear country. It's not about who is corrupt but who is not. The EFFC, Nigerian Customs, to name just a few are endemically corrupt, it's not just institutionalised but long-standing generational, it's that bad. Corruption is also accepted by most and almost IMPOSSIBLE as an individual to fight without grave consequences on you who challenges it. NFF Coach Salisu was caught red handed and publicly disgraced and found culpable, blatant bribe taking. Some perfunctory sanctions were made against him as punitive measures. But it was more window dressing to appease public opinion somewhat. Fast forward Salisu should have been banned and even imprisoned but he is now at the top of the pyramid in the NFF. That tells you the cultural of corruption still pervades at the highest level. I will not talk about SiaSia. It's a reflection of just like many other government departments, agencies and or bodies in Nigeria. The NFF is no exception, it's endemically corrupt. Maybe you are blind to corruption but many here are not. My former governor Ibori was discharged and acquitted of all charges of corruption at a Federal court in Asaba. He then pleaded guilty to very similar charges in British Court. Was convicted and given a 13 year jail sentence but served in prison for less than 7 years, returns to Nigeria, he is not arrested but literally given a red carpet state of welcome. Ademola Lookman will watch the NFF spin a myriad of lies and untruths. If he wants to play for the SE he will say nothing because unless he want to face off with NFF and loose his place. He will keep QUITE and not in the public domain contradict the nonsense the NFF are putting out. With regards to your request for a receipt ask Abba Kyari to produce a receipt for the thousands of $ he got from hushpuffi. And while your at it ask Ibori for a receipt for the $16 Million bribe given to the EFCC which is still in the Central Bank. 1 Like |

Astrid4: I do not care whether it was Rohr's instruction or not. Simon Moses has not ever performed as good as he did in this AFCON ever. I am not saying he is a poor player. I am saying Rohr's negative tactics prevented him from excelling. Hear from Simon Moses. “It’s one of my best games in the last two years. We changed the coach and tactics.” “Every coach has his own mentality. With the current coach (Eguavoen), he gave me the freedom to express myself. It really helped me a lot”...Simon Moses 3 Likes |

Astrid4:You're out of touch with reality. All through the afconQ, Simon was the most vilified winger here. There's no need for ancient history, we were all here. Simon was my best winger pre WC 2018. After he came back from injury, Simon simply disappeared and you calling that fluke goal from the cross against SA is quite desperate. The fact is Simon was poor under Rohr. The reasons are many but it still points to this fact 2 Likes |

daveP:On current form, Nigeria will win against Ghana. However it’s a pride match, so I won’t be surprised if a Ghanaian or two will prefer to get red cards than to let Nigeria easily get away with the win. We might see some rough & determined footballers particularly in the 1st leg. Could go into penalties in the second leg if our forwards don’t seal the win at Accra. I don’t support the use of Abuja stadium They’ve not played there for ages. Thought they would have opted for Uyo stadium. Not so familiar pitch, hope it doesn’t turn into 2 away games for us 1 Like |

andrewbaba44: Stop being toxic Andrew444. Did i say that Aribo had a poor AFCON? I stated categorically on his shows in central midfield which has gaping deficiencies. My proofs of his deficiencies are as follows: How many times did we build up play from defense to attack with Aribo being at the heart of it. Eguavoen's system favours long balls, how many long balls came off Aribo who is supposedly a central midfielder. Aribo had only one successful long ball out of three attempts. Aribo started three games and made only two key passes in total of the three games. I have more to tell you about Aribo, but let's stop at this point. I am making this promise to you, that i will tell you more about his shows in midfield. You called me a clueless Nwakali fan. I have talked about Nwakali even before AFCON. Now you should know this: Take your time to watch Nwakali's substitute appearance against Sudan, notice our transition from defense to attack, notice our stability and dominance in midfield. Out of nine attempts at long balls Nwakali was successful seven times. Nwakali is the only midfielder who was successful at making crosses, he made two successful crossses out of five attempts. Nwakali started only one game, but made a total of four key passes. This is so much for your classification of me as clueless, but except for sentiments, no one will judge me as clueless, the facts presented is enough to show that i know what i am saying. 4 Likes |
