17 percent of kenya live in extreme or absolute poverty. This international poverty line of about 2 dollars a day a person. 40 for Nigeria. Now when we talk poverty - they are many types of poverty - and measures - even in developed country - someone earning less than 20K dollars a year is poor and receive a food stipend. theenchanter: 3 Likes |

rvp20182:oga, I posted the number of people living in poverty in both countries, urs is roughly 23m, ours is roughly 83m. Now, u've resorted to absolute poverty knowing fully well that u have ur own poverty rate at 3,200ksh for adults in rural areas and 5,999ksh for adults in urban areas... While Nigeria uses only world bank rate of $3 and $1.9. If we still convert urs to world bank rate, rvp, u'll be worse than Nigeria still. Either way u want, u're still worse. Just agree and move on. |
