Same with most of the telcos and the energy companies.
It comes with the territory, you simply can't satisfy everyone even when you're trying your best.

Nigerians are extremely docile people, it's been more than two months since TLS canceled priority services and asked all the people that have already paid for those services to request for a refund, I have asked around, there's no single soul that have been refunded, [/b]we are talking about [b]hundreds if not thousands of people that paid a minimum of £220 for a priority service that wasn't rendered, some paid higher for super priority, TLS is not even bothered to reply to people's inquiries on when they are going to receive their money. Can they treat their UK customers like this? Or they are doing this because it is Nigerians and we are docile, this money from a rough estimate should be running into hundreds of thousands of pounds and they simply refused to give them back to the owners and won't even be assed enough to respond to your mails, it is disrespectful that you only get an automated message anything to try to enquire about your refund.

Good morning people,
I applied for my NI immediately I got my brp 2 days after I got into London. I used my hotel address hoping it'll be ready just like the brp (I never knew that was not a good one.) I applied on Feb 5 and I have left the hotel since Feb 8. I was told it'll be ready in 16 weeks so I was chilling. Not until a friend who entered last week got his own yesterday.
I called the hotel immediately to confirm if they received any package on my behalf and they said no. Please, how do I track to know it has been delivered, or if not, how can I change the delivery address to my new address. People I asked said it should have been delivered by now.
Please I need help. I got a job through a referral but I couldn't push through because NI was requested.

Open more bank accounts and start switching to make more money…some banks offer £140-150 for switching + other benefits

It's barely 1month since my Visa came out. I had to cause a little traffic by sending multiple job application to uk indeed.
I use my wife's current address and phone number coz I am currently in Nigeria.(joining her soon)
I got some rejections, did 1or 2 interview
Finally got an offer at one of the companies as a fraud analyst.
9am - 5pm (remote after 3months training)
£10.6 pH.
Please big brothers n sisters with experience. Do I take this job or turn it down.
I am eyeing something around £12-14 pH.

Hello House, I finally land on this thread. Praise God and everyone who gave invaluable advise on the study visa thread. We arrived 2 weeks ago but I have been busy searching for accommodation etc and settling in. I have contacted the council about school and chosen 4 schools for my son. I did everything via email and phone call. Do I need to do anything else ? And will I be required to pay any fees for uniforms etc ? In addition do I need to visit the actual schools or just wait to hear back from the council ? Finally I am studying business analytics, so we are learning the basics of R and data visualization, I’m also learning python and SQL on my own so I can position to apply for data analyst roles in addition to business analyst roles. Can any one give advise on how to get graduate tier 2 sponsorship jobs in these (tech/business) fields. Also when should I start applying. In addition, hubby is has a BSc in accounting and Masters in Marketing. What are his possible job prospects for tier 2 sponsorship? Please any and every advise will be appreciated. Also we’d like introduction to the Nigerian community in Bournemouth. Thanks once again

How come you guys paid for this option when it has not working since last year October or so. I know the student thread has been complaining. I did not know some of you still paid.

You want people to advice you yet you are throwing words. If someone responds the same level like you just did; you start screaming bullying.

Sad and Angry, yeah, anyone in your shoe will be that way. And yes you are right about possibly not treating their customers on this end that way. I once ordered for an item from Zara and after getting delivery date, I got a payment refund to my bank from same Zara, checked my mail and saw that the ordered item was out of stock so they refunded the amount immediately since services can’t be delivered.

But before you let your anger grow to others, be sure to check the announcement TLS made about refunding those who made payment for the said non-functioning services. If the announcement said “amount will be refunded” without stating time or date of the refund, then you have no option but to wait. That’s an open ended statement used by most organization to avert accusation of delay.

Also note that no one can help you. Not even the Nigerian government as they are more about what they get than fighting for the right of its citizen. These people won’t do this to other top countries. They take Nigerians for granted because Nigerian government take Nigerians for granted. You just have to be patient. Only alternative will be if the people involved start to drag them on social space. But again, before you start that, check the announcement to be sure it’s not open ended statement of refund.

Err It stopped working the first week of December after the UK govt added Nigeria to the red list.
Advise me as per how? Bully in what form? I genuinely don't get what you are talking about, maybe you quoted the wrong post. My post is about TLS refusing to refund or even respond to mails of applicants that paid for priority and super priority services, don't get where you got these things you are referring to from.

When you switch, there is an intermediary called the current account switch service which handles the process and your old bank account is closed automatically and all your payments and dds are moved over to the new account, so switching doesn't increase the number of bank accounts you have.

RBS is offering 150 at the moment for switchers, good money in these days of high energy and fuel prices.
