Wow, we now HAVE to beat Ghana

This is nonsense

If he wants to play for Ghana then he should switch before the playoffs ,if Ghana makes it to the World Cup for example they should not take this player abeg

Bang Average player who wants to play for England but observing Ghana if they make it to the World Cup or not to know where he stands ,if he can’t help Ghana qualify then he should not be there when they make it to the World Cup

Nigeria have been guilty of this also .

He made a rational decision which many of us will likely make too. But honestly he is worse than stupid to have said this in public, if he did.

I hope Ghana FA still has a bit of shame in them to stop running after this guy.

Even though that might be deir intention too but making bold statement towards DT is a big slap on any nations face...its better one to diplomatic about such intentions Dan going out publicly to say such

On current form, Nigeria will win against Ghana.
However it’s a pride match, so I won’t be surprised if a Ghanaian or two will prefer to get red cards than to let Nigeria easily get away with the win.
We might see some rough & determined footballers particularly in the 1st leg.
Could go into penalties in the second leg if our forwards don’t seal the win at Accra.

I don’t support the use of Abuja stadium
They’ve not played there for ages.

Thought they would have opted for Uyo stadium.
Not so familiar pitch, hope it doesn’t turn into 2 away games for us

cheesy

No wonder Falconets beat Cameroon at same Abuja Stadium recently, coz they've been playing there for ages.

Terrible message from such a legend like Okocha. We need to keep working hard to improve as a team
That is how we can become a success in the long run.

Is Okocha asking us to park bus against Ghana
That is a defeatist mentality. We should go there with the mentality of dominating and winning.

They do not have the mind. The people coaching us are not some boot lickers. If they try it, they will not get called up even if they win ballon d'or.

Another delivery of the curling shot. Even though the defence was not as compact as a parked bus set up, the shot demonstrates the efficacy it has against a tight defensive set up.

Baba he made a stupid decision

If you wanna play for Ghana then don’t wait till they qualify for the World Cup

Nzonzi turned down dr congo severally ,there was a time he wanted to play for England after spending severally years at Blackburn and stoke ,but at almost 30 he got his French call up and won the World Cup with them ,nzonzi was never interested in dr Congo and made it known ,even kondogbia decided to play for CAR without a hope of them playing for the afcon let alone World Cup

Hudson odoi might be playing for a big club like Chelsea but if we make our research he isn’t even Ghana best player or a ghanian Messi

They should not make the World Cup if we qualify

But they can play for the eagles after the World Cup

They should continue pretending at the moment than make such statement

Bring receipt you come dey type official memo.

komekn:

Is it ignorance or is it delusional or even just a lack of basic understanding.

Corruption is endemic and institutionalised in our dear country. It's not about who is corrupt but who is not.

The EFFC, Nigerian Customs, to name just a few are endemically corrupt, it's not just institutionalised but long-standing generational, it's that bad.

Corruption is also accepted by most and almost IMPOSSIBLE as an individual to fight without grave consequences on you who challenges it.

NFF Coach Salisu was caught red handed and publicly disgraced and found culpable, blatant bribe taking. Some perfunctory sanctions were made against him as punitive measures. But it was more window dressing to appease public opinion somewhat.

Fast forward Salisu should have been banned and even imprisoned but he is now at the top of the pyramid in the NFF. That tells you the cultural of corruption still pervades at the highest level. I will not talk about SiaSia.

It's a reflection of just like many other government departments, agencies and or bodies in Nigeria. The NFF is no exception, it's endemically corrupt. Maybe you are blind to corruption but many here are not.

My former governor Ibori was discharged and acquitted of all charges of corruption at a Federal court in Asaba. He then pleaded guilty to very similar charges in British Court. Was convicted and given a 13 year jail sentence but served in prison for less than 7 years, returns to Nigeria, he is not arrested but literally given a red carpet state of welcome.

Ademola Lookman will watch the NFF spin a myriad of lies and untruths. If he wants to play for the SE he will say nothing because unless he want to face off with NFF and loose his place. He will keep QUITE and not in the public domain contradict the nonsense the NFF are putting out.

With regards to your request for a receipt ask Abba Kyari to produce a receipt for the thousands of $ he got from hushpuffi. And while your at it ask Ibori for a receipt for the $16 Million bribe given to the EFCC which is still in the Central Bank.

Reality is that we need to keep growing as a team. With a mindset that we need to play ugly to win is a recipe to slide down in quality.

We need to keep improving ourselves by playing to the best of our capabilities. Negative football will not lead us to greater heights that we can achieve.

The Legendary Okocha is wrong here.

hmmm our problem is superiority mentality which makes many to believe that even if we are facing the best in the world today we should beat them silly

A legend that hv seen it all in world football made a statement not based on emotions and sentiment but reality and facts and here you are disputing that by believing that we ought to spank Ghana silly next month

But some are as usual looking for soft landing for their fears.

Okocha should tell us if that was the mindset we used to play Brazil at Atlanta 96. Brazil boasted of some of the best talents in the game. The best player in the world and one of the greatest of all time was there. Ronaldo de Lima. Rivaldo who later became the best player in the world was there too. At that time Roberto Carlos was the second best player in the world. Juninho, Bebeto and some other stars were there.

Yet, we played with bravery and heart. It ended in joy for us.

Finito.
