Good morning all.

Please gurus in the house @makano @ketima @Anon123 @FrankRobbn and any other person who can help me out. I would like to know in terms of speed from cases you've been seeing, if the new portal is truly a more speedy route. I intend to apply by march and hopefully get a decision by May.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Please how does this NSE Route works?
Someone with the link to get more information should please help me.
I have read some things but they aren't clear. The $10,000cad, do I need to open an account for it over there? Can I open an account when I am not even there? I need a link please... Thanks

Frm question, I guess it was 1 year program and you want to do another one so as to qualify for 2-3years PGWP?

Sometime ago, there was a debate here as to is it ok and safe to work before your School resumes. Many adviced against why many said please the person can go ahead, that nothing will happen that others have done it and are now PR holders. I waited to see the person who did same to come give us first hand, but non came forward.

Now I will be sincere with you here. This a faceless forum and as such people can tell you things that even them wont do for fear of being denied PGWP at the end. I do tell my peoole that if one can stay jobless in Nigeria for 2 years and more without dying, why then will that person want to risk his dream because of few month 40hrs weekly job that may deny you lifetime 40hrs weekly income.

So my candid advice, to qualify for 2-3years PGWP, and about to start his next 1year studies concurrently, let him chill please. He is lucky he is already there. Let him be receiving atleast cool weather breeze till Sept ok.

My humble opinion though.

A one year certificate program does not qualify one for a PGWP?

Good morning everyone. I want to make payment for my school fees trough Fly-wire, I generated an invoice already and also used that the details on it to fill a form-A online. the problem now is that form-A will take about a week but fly wire says my transaction must be initiated not later than four days after generating an invoice. I want to be sure if I'm getting things right. Thank you all

Great . You can also attach this as evidence that you've fulfilled the settlement condition of filing notice of discontinuance.

Oh wow. Thank you ever so much for this
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by sinorte: 9:00am On Feb 17, 2022
Try follow up with your bank for prompt processing and also update Flywire with the status once the deadline is approaching. They would eventually extend the 'latest date'.

Mind you, this 'latest date' is that date by which you must initiate the transaction at your bank, and not the date Flywire expect the funds to have been received at their end.

LONGGGGGG POST ALERT!!!

Guys I really do not know where to start from!
I'm short of words. God's just too good to fail.
I'm still in shock cause I can't really fathom why my application was this quick or why I was just favoured, but I give God all the glory! For he alone is to be praised!

I've been following this thread for about 4yrs now. Just observing with no plans to submit my application. Was just here for the information basically, and to read people's process (which I enjoyed doing) didn't even know I'd eventually apply.

Time came for me to apply, I was scared to the Bone! I was scared to doing it myself! My sponsor (brother) literally begged me to look for an Agent to handle my application, I was skeptical at first, but I succumbed cause I didn't want any issue or stories that touch.

I contacted an agent on this platform, he charged me 150K for admission and 250K for Visa. My sponsor agreed to pay for the first stage (admission). Las las I eventually paid 190K for only admission!!! Only school admission ohhh!!!

Then it was time for Visa Application, and I was told Visa Fee has increased to 300K. And I was like hell No!!! I no go school? Am I daft? No! I can do this shi# myself. 300K no be 300 naira.

That's how it began, took a leap of faith and decided to do and handle my Visa Process myself, and God blessed me with the GOLDEN Mail (PPR)! Guys please do this stuff yourself!
You can do it! Yes YOU! You can!
There's nobody else that cares about your application than you! You don't need any agents NAIRALAND is the real deal! NAIRALAND taught me everything I know and used to get my Approval.

I'm a FIRST TIME APPLICANT, my timeline goes thus, I used the NEW PORTAL,

Upfront Medicals - 22nd November 2021
Application Submitted - 29th November 2021
Biometrics Completed - 3rd December 2021 (updated same day)
Upfront Medicals Updated - 6th December 2021
Then the wait........................^_^
Eligibility Review Started - 25th January 2022
Then a good man, a blessing, friend turned brother, a brother from another mother, Teemenzo (God bless you for me brother, he has always been with me from the beginning of my application) adviced me to send a mail to Abuja which I did, I eventually, reluctantly sent to everybody (London, Nairobi, Lagos, Abuja) yesterday, 26th of January just to disturb then. Lo and behold, today,

I'd also like to use this medium to appreciate Teemenzo and EyinjuGod. God bless you guys again for everything. You were with me from the start to the end. I'm rooting for you both. My prayers aren't complete yet, till y'all get your PPR's

I also want to appreciate Makano for the series of questions of mine he answered. God bless you boss. Ketima, thank you for always assisting and encouraging everyone. You actually encouraged me to do this myself and I appreciate, Scotisshh (dunno if I got the spelling correctly) your testimony dey come. Lianna aka Rela, thank you for your encouraging email replies.
I also want to thank you all, my fellow Nairalanders for the congratulatory messages and mentions.

If I decide to reply all mentions, I might fill up 5pages of this new thread. God bless you all. I'd also be here to congratulate y'all when your turn comes. All of us go enter this Canada! That's for sure! smiley

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

If the amount is not strange to the account then there's no need of raising webform to explain anything.
Since it's a normal occurrence, you're good to go boss.
