Okay ooo like the inflation that moved United Capital from 90k in 2013 to N10 in 2022.

Moved Okomu from N5 in 2006 to over N100 in 2022 or Nestle from N20 in 2000 to N1400 in 2022

i never look at inflation that much as nobody will ever invest if you think of it ...its just a factor as purchasing power of money reduces but huge gains to be made ...nigerian stocks are so undervalued compared to other countries its the best thing to do ....in fact you are one of my silent advisers on here so i always read your opinions o lol..

You buy and wait, provided you have done your research.

At times people wait for 2 years and above
I actually bought the Guinness due to his call, but was not able to wait it out. I bought at N16.70 and sold a month after at N16.90 just to recoup my capital and enter another promising stock which delivered 40% in 5 months. I suspect the person is the same as Aruna Kebira (stockbroker/financial analyst). He actually put recommendation on Guinness based on Sentimental analysis, part of which is the parent company Diageo bailing the company out, but Guinness was able to bounce back heavily on improved earnings. I do hope he was able to wait it out too.

I predict 12 month ago that UBA will restore minimum of 80k dividend to be paid March or April 2022. Resulting in a full year dividend of 20k + 80k = N1.00

NSE is back - No announcement about UBA 14th Feb meeting yet

Got a 6 months loan which was used to buy Guinness, ETI and Lafarge in October 2021. I liquidated my debt last month which was two and a half months before maturity

Pls I am new to the stock market, can you tell why the price of International Breweries should be above N10? I have just checked the company's result and it is at a loss. A 13 Billion naira loss. Will the price not go down instead of up?

I was looking to invest in NB, Champion or International Breweries but after looking at their results thinking NB and Champion are better.

Kindly shed some light on why International Breweries should reach N10 so I don't make mistake and buy NB or Champion.

Sir can you please advise on similar stocks I can invest in so I don't make mistake. I have some cash and I have only invested years back in 2014 when the market crashed I had invested in Transcorp, Conoil and Oando and lost a lot of money. Since then I have not invested. I want to start investing again but worried of following the popular stocks like i did then only for me to receive a painful ending.

I have witnessed the progress of Guinness and ETI and like you to carry me along on your investment decisions please.

Pls some of my investment decisions are based on what I see on the street. My people like hero and betamalt so it is a matter of time it translate to cash. Like the case of Guinness I knew they whr going to make good money when they took over the sole importation of thr spirit drinks into the country and bought over some other cheap spirit drinks. IB has products that are giving NB head ache in the beer and non alcoholic drinks. Then I like Peter obi and hero is our beer.
Note you don't have to follow me because I am very patient with the market. I Sabi wait oh

Just feel I should chip in some points worthy of note. That Guinness you mentioned now descended in price from N78 in 2018 to as low as N15 a year ago simply because they were making consistent losses in their financial report over a period of time. But now, it is N66 because they returned to profit about 6 months ago.
The International Brewery (IB) you are talking about now was N32 in 2018, but fell to the current market price of N5 simply because the company has been reporting losses in their financials for sometime too. Mind you, the moment IB returned to profitability, you may not see it at N10 in the months to follow. The people buying now may probably be buying with the mindset that the company has a huge prospect of returning positive figures in the near future, just like Guinness was able to do. I'll stop for now.

So did you not check their last Q3? I think they have returned to profit, but we waiting to confirm it in Q4. It will not be long, IB will be at #10 , I think.

How times change. UCAP and Africa Prudential were listed same time with Africa Prudential almost double UCAP in price but the reverse is now the case and UCAP keeps climbing higher while Afriprud remains static at 6+
