If we're talking finishing Onuachu is definitely better than all our strikers even Osimhen.

It's his languid style and lack of pace that's his undoing, but I have no doubt if he's fed with chances he will score most.

I also agree with you absolutely that if we qualify for Qatar and he's fit his name should be one of the first on the plane.

He will surely be at Qatar if we qualify .

I don't agree with this. Its rare but there are such stories around. Its football Afterall.
na U-17? There are some things nobody will teach you at senior level, you either have it or not. You mean Guardiola go buy player finish he’ll now start teaching him how to cross or how to control ball?

So he must impress in his first game and score ,since he didn’t impress in his first game he is a bad player ? You must be a joker

Ighalo was not fit to start that first game ,nobody is talking about onuachu benching ighalo here

Stop making it look like onuachu has been bad for the eagles as he hasn’t been bad

Where did I blame anybody for his lack of game time? i am pointing out people talking down of him Witt every given opportunity

He only missed the afcon because of injury ,another shot as if he was dropped grin

He lack game time but he should always score from the bench any time he comes on according to many people here grin
where did I say he must impress? Besides this is not club football where there are lots of games for you to impress the coach. NT don’t have the luxury of time, just one game and you could be out. Where did I say he has been bad for us? At the bolded, did I say otherwise?

He has not been bad for the national team

I prefer osimhen as my starter currently and onuachu as 2nd choice

With NFF president’s antics
I just hope they don’t recall Ighalo to the squad
I don’t understand that president honestly

Will these guys be at the World Cup
Umar Sadiq, Taiwo Awoniyi, Emmanuel Dennis, Henry Onyekwuru

If the squad max is 23 & I’m a betting man, only Dennis makes the list amongst these guys. He can play anywhere upfront
Especially with the inclusion of Lookman & possibly Eze. Only 2 strikers that’d surely be listed are Onuachu & Osimhen

As far as i know, senior football is not the end of learning. Most Man City ballers still learn daily, they attest to that. But i get your point about some basics. But even the basics have techniques.

A long list of midfielders
A bunch of them won’t make the WC list.

Ndidi, Onyeka, Aribo, Iwobi, Etebo, Nwakali, Ejuke, Kalu

I suspect FIFA will increase the squad numbers so it may be 2 out of the 4 names you mentioned. Onyekuru looks most in danger.

All this is conjecture sef let's just pray to qualify first

Mujtahida:

But it's a loss that we have a tall striker in Osimhen and yet our wingers are poor crossers of the ball. Regardless of the fact that they are inverted wingers, crossing the ball is one way to get the ball quickly to your attackers and create overloads of scoring opportunities.

What you call in sha Allah is statistical probability. One or two might just be nicked in

Cross and Inshallah sounds like a plan until your opponent defenders are as tall as your striker... You can't give what you don't have.. Our wingers are poor crossers of the ball because they aren't shouldered with such responsibility at their clubs... why force them to replicate such in the super eagles? it will be a waste of effort...
I'm not saying they shouldn't cross, but it shouldn't be their primary responsibility..

Apart from onuachu ,Even osimhen is another striker good on the air but no flow of crosses

The boy self Dey try to Dey get those goals ,that’s why he is first choice

You can’t force them to cross sha when they don’t play like that for their clubs

No be fear it's about respecting the opposition.

I'm optimistic of our chances but we will be mistaken if we think it's the Ghana that faced Comoros that will line up against us.

If we take Cameroun as case study, this is no excuse for not doing that in the NT. Barely do those guys cross at their clubs at allll. Yet they crossed many cos they had big faith that Aboubakar was lurking somewhere to nod with his fresh and strong head. Everything doesn't have to be that rigid. The fact they don't attempt it at club again doesn't mean they aren't good crossers, in the vice versa view.

One painful thing will be having Lookman and we somehow get a hint that Coachito doesn't want him to cross the ball as he does in England. Just saying.

Moses Simon for almost 2 year's kept on throwing Cross from Africa to Europe without so single connect to our strikers e reach a point even osimehn tire for the inshallah crosses and in some matches you will see oshimhen drift to the wing and give a pinpoint cross then you Wonder what wrong with our original wingers the best is to just let them play their dribble and cut in instead of forcing Dem to start throwing ball away in the name of crossing wink

true bro but Same way any of them can equally beat our national team also but it will be nice to take Dem on in a friendly after our qualification to the world cup to boost our ranking then we have a seemingly easy draw as we will be making a nice pot ahead of the group stage draw wink if we get a good win against any of them cool
