Hello everyone, as an undergraduate going to school, he stated that his parents will accompany him in his application. Are his parents to apply for visit visa separately? If yes, when? He just submitted his application and did biometrics this week. I will appreciate your response. Thank you Meanwhile, his mum just applied for study visa nd awaiting response from IRCC. Does she need to apply for visit visa again? |

Hello everyone, Thanks for all the information shared here, I wanted to ask if it’s possible to use the same GCkey account I used for my study visa application Also wanted to ask if I get admission for winter January 2023 and I want my sponsors to build his six months statements to grow, is it possible to start gathering documents and start uploading immediately then submit and pay later around August for the study visa Kindly assist |

Bayor65: I checked on the portal. It changed to “We are reviewing your application to see if you meet eligibility requirements” from “We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility”. They don’t send any message though. 1 Like |

sojeokeowo2014: There’s no specific amount… You just need a minimum of $13K CAD .. this is after maybe you might have finish paying your school fees. In situations whereby you didn’t pay your full tuition, you will have to add the balance to the 13k CAD… |

Raphelchuks: Wheb you get to canada, it is important you control your spending as a new student in the country. That amount is the standard though but you can have more if you have it. 2-3m |

sinorte: Money must be in your account even if its your twin thats sponsoring you. The VO's eyes, u can not be in canada and expect money to pay your bills and others to be in another persons account in Nigeria. One of the many reasons apps are denied based on finance. 2 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Maypearl: 4:46pm On Feb 17, 2022 |
Anon123: Hi Anon123, Your choice of the word “must” is only piling on more doubts and fears in a time when an applicant is really struggling with the wait of ppr. I know this is not your intention. But I think you need to realise that what you are saying is more of a recommendation than a must. I’ve been following this platform and I have seen 5 or even more ppl that didn’t submit their personal statements or submitted personal statements with as little as 2k (yes 2000 Naira! I read this on this platform). The key is the details of your sponsor. How close they are to you, if they are retired or still working, their amount and source of income. If your sponsorship game is a bit weak, then that’s when I recommend you support with a good personal bank statement. Biko some of us here are over 27, high blood pressure abi is it hypertension (I don’t know the difference) is real oh. Don’t be scaring us with “must”. I come in peace. 11 Likes |

sojeokeowo2014: The answer to your question will depend on; The school you want to study in. Your program of study Lenght of study Tuition fee of the program (per year) How long will the program take to conclude ( in years) The province where the school is located. ( Quebec or other provinces) Lastly are u travelling alone or with family for the duration of study. If you can provide the answers to all the questions above you will get a clear answer from this forum. |

Onlinedoctor: Lump sum in my case was huge inflow from my parent few days to submission date. Although I explained it that it’s a gift towards my education. I guess the reason wasn’t satisfactory because it was stated in my note that the lump sum was not explained. 2) I changed from self sponsor to spouse sponsor because I do not have the inflow and outflow that will corroborate the expected closing balance. My husband had that, so we leverage on that, his properties and financial capacity to sponsor me. I hope you find this helpful. |
