Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

It’s just a temporal delay….I had same reason in my first application. Order for your note using gcmsonline, getgcms, justforCanada…tackle the reason and refire.

It will end in praise.

My people how una dey today cheesy

So, I have been trying to pay my application fee and it keep declining. Does anyone know how I can go about pay for my Visa application?

I used the new link

Thanks

There’s an 100dollar limit on naira card. Use options like barter by flutterwave, access visa signature card, get a TRUSTED friend or family to pay on your behalf and you send the naira equivalent(the last option is very risky,so you have to observe all due diligence).

Pleeeeeaaase some one help me, i beg for an input on this please

this is my circumstance, how do i go about it.
Admission to 2 years pgd.
Tuition 27k for the entire program but i am charged 15k for first year
Piggy vest savings 7m with N6.5m mature to be moved to my account thus week
Sponsor is my sister who is a pr in Canada
Sisters savings 21k cad outside this she is plaining to pay 2k as tuition deposit to show commitment. School did not ask for down payment but she want to show commitment with this and then give me her saving account worth 21k as pof

She is my only sibling but mum is gifting me a land worth over 5 m

How do i go about this, is this proof of funds sufficient or against me? Please help me while I prepare my documents

Cost for the 2 yrs program $27,000 CAD
Money for your feeding and accommodation for 2 years would be $20,000CAD if school is outside the Quebec province, but if it is in Quebec you will need $22,000CAD for the 2years. Together with all this add the cost of your flight ticket to Canada. So if we add all the cost above assuming your school is outside Quebec it would amount to;
$27,000 + $20,000 + $1,000 (flight ticket)= $48,000CAD
so you will need to show at least about $48,000 to $50,000 as proof of fund ,but mind you the more the better.
Even after showing all these you will need to provide documents showing how the money came about and also convince the consular officer that the money would be available to you throughout your study. You will also need to convince the office why you want to study your program of choice and lastly your home ties.
If you can clear all this hurdles you have got a chance.
Good luck.

Once it changes to ADB-Supervisor (recommended for approval), your account will be debited within 3 days. If not, please visit your bank.

1. Only her savings is not sufficient for your tuition and living expenses

2. Piggyvest funds might not be accepted as proof of funds.

To stand a better chance, I will say you should print that piggyvest statement and submit as personal asset, use the fund in it to pay your one year tuition fee ( 5 million naira). You will still submit the piggyvest statement as if the fund is still there

Your sister's $21,000, tax clearance, employment details will stand for living expenses and proof of ability to pay next year tuition.

Hello Jacklens

1. Every student that isn't a Canadian citizen or whose parents are not permanent residents need a study permit to study in Canada...

2. You don't have to be a Canadian or a permanent resident before you can apply for SOWP . So far you have a status (international student) in Canada you can apply for SOWP for your partner outside Canada...

Peace
Jacklens:
@makano
1. Can minors on visitors visa be permitted to attend schools in Canada, without study permit?
2. Is SOWP not limited to Canadian partners or PR holder spouses?
Pls help me with more info.

Hello Vonvictor

The new portal is just to simplify the process of the regular portal.. e.g The absence of IRCC forms

So far so good, we have just had very few applicants who got their PPR via the new portal, so we cant ascertain which gets a faster response..

But personally, I don't wanna believe there is anything like speed when it comes to both portals, the goal is to apply and get your PPR..

Peace
VonVictor:
Good morning all.

Please gurus in the house @makano @ketima @Anon123 @FrankRobbn and any other person who can help me out. I would like to know in terms of speed from cases you've been seeing, if the new portal is truly a more speedy route. I intend to apply by march and hopefully get a decision by May.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

NSE-Nigerian Student Express was a trick played on applicant that if you submit your documents and include an MBS-mybank statement certificate(to replace scanned bank statement) and IELTS result with at least 6.0 made on all bands, your application will be processed under the NBS category in 20days.

First few weeks, it worked but eventually 20days turned to 3months and gradually its back to the normal waiting time or the normal applicants with out either of those two docs.

As an international student, you are expected to have money for feeding, accomodation etc asides money for your tuition fees. Meaning that $10,000cad has to be in your account while the tuition can be with you or your sponsor.

does that mean people don't use NSE anymore? I'm about to start processing my application; does NSE still work?

Nobody talks about NSE anymore and theres no particular portal for it. Its still the same portal everybody is using just that you have an IELTS abd MBS attached to your application. If you have ielts and MBS, please go ahead and submit.

But it does not guarantee approvals.

Thanks for your reply. I could get MBS but haven't written IELTS. I have a letter from my Nigerian school to show English proficiency. I don't know if that would suffice. What do you think?

Good evening, all.

Quick question: Can my mum submit her SOA and act as a sponsor for my wife to cover her living expenses (as her mother-in-law)? She got a PhD offer.
Mum's POF= CAD$6,000
PhD funding= CAD$23,000
Tuition and fees=CAD$9,300
Living expenses from funding= 23,000–9,300= $13,700.

TIA.

IELTS is not a compulsory document for Canada Study Visa application, it has been said countless times on this forum..

Its only compulsory for EE applications..

Good evening everyone, I recently just joined this forum. Got my visa refusal on the 14th of February and I'll welcome any pointers as I reapply.
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your travel history. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
