2023: Tinubu Should Go And Rest, I’ll Vote For Osinbajo – Edwin Clark by Ebunoluwa2020(f): 7:01pm On Feb 17, 2022
Leader of Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, Edwin Clark, on Thursday, cautioned Bola Tinubu, an All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant against contesting in 2023.

Clark said Tinubu should go and rest despite coming from the most sophisticated region of Nigeria.

Featuring on Arise TV, the elder statesman said he would rather vote for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to become Nigeria’s next President.

Clark described Osinbajo as an intelligent man who has what it takes to rule Nigeria in 2023.

According to Clark: “I’m not aware of Jonathan running for presidency. I’m a father to him and he has not informed me about such intentions.

“The southwest is the most educated and sophisticated people in Nigeria, but Tinubu should go and rest. Other than the Igbos, I would vote for the Vice President; he is an intelligent fellow.

“How many times have we heard Tinubu talking about the affairs of this nation or criticizing those in power?”

Tinubu had recently announced his intention to contest for president in 2023.

The former governor of Lagos State had informed President Muhammadu Buhari that his decision to run for the presidency was a lifelong aspiration.

Similarly, reports had it that Osinbajo would soon make his intention known.

Lol you think all these guys will vote Osinbajo? They are just trying to cause animosity between Tinubu and Osinbajo so that both won’t succeed .

That same man will thumbprint for Atiku in PDP even if Osinbajo is on the ballot. Forget about all this oju aiye these guys are doing.

Either Tinubu or Osinbajo, anyone of them that eventually emerge will need the cooperation of the other or else none of them can mount that presidency seat.

Ode agbaya, your years of fruitless political adventures, jumping behind one babariga to the next brown envelope did not benefit your people even with all the NDDC tons of billions, derivations, massive allocations....

It's even funny when some clueless people say they prefer Osinbajo as if it really matter to us. Osinbajo or Tinubu, we don't even care, both men equals the same progressive qualities and ideologies, the same progress and development, the same vision, the same competence and dedication.

Tinubu is Osinbajo and Osinbajo is Tinubu, we don't care, we are ok with Tinubu or Osinbajo.

I understand you. Most people do not have problem with Osinbajo because Asiwaju has consistently taken the blame for Osinbajo and has acted as shield for him.

—Asiwaju made lot of political enemies in life in his quest for building a formidable political structure that can get the SW bloc to the center. Osinbajo was a political nobody before Asiwaju brought him forward as number 2. Osinbajo is a beneficiary of this while Asiwaju continue to amass political enemies.

—The bullion van issue that people blame Asiwaju for is also because he is the machinery responsible for delivering Buhari/Osinbajo in the West. All he did was for Buhari/Osinbajo to remain in power but you will never see anyone blame Osinbajo for the van and yet he’s one of the beneficiaries.

—If Fulani herdmen strike any state in the SW, people out rightly blame Tinubu and reprimand him for not speaking up. We have Osinbajo a number 2 citizen that have ears in the security architecture not taking any blame. No one blames him because Asiwaju is like his savior that continues to be crucified for his sins.

—The economy is bad currently and you see people blaming Tinubu for bringing Buhari but they never blame Osinbajo who is the number 2 man at the helm of affairs and even supervise those economic council. We all say it was because Buhari did not give him power to operate but we blame Tinubu a man that dosent even have the power Osinbajo had for the same.

All what I’m saying is that Asiwaju has always taken all the bullet for Osinbajo and that is why Osinbajo has less enemies and Asiwaju enemies are in their multitude.

Lastly, I will prefer Asiwaju to give us Fashola or Osinbajo for 2023 presidency but if he insists he wants to contest, I think him and Osinbajo should go head to head at the primaries, anyone that wins will earn our support for the actual election.

We all know the pendulum is swinging towards Osinbajo. He has a herculean task winning primary but the general election would be much more easier for for him.

Since winning general election would be much of concern to APC faithful and a prerequisite for retaining power, supporting Osinbajo becomes necessary and a bitter pill that must be swallow even to those that support Tinubu or other candidates in APC

Integrity is been straightforward and having the courage of your convictions, doing what you believe is right and not fearing to speak out.

It is sad that Osinbajo has traded his integrity for loyalty to Buhari, not for Nigerians.

There are better people to vote for, than these lots.

It baffles me how some lame youths campaign for an ancestor like tinubu after all they faced in the hands of buhari

If you'll be honest to yourself, what is an old weak man like tinubu who's bent on embarrassing himself on national tv looking for in aso rock with all his money?

Osinbajo all the way jare.

Mumu thief Clerk is inconsequential and irrelevant in the scheme of things.
Osinbajo is not running, so keep trying your dumb best to muddle the story. Not going to change reality.
Thief Clerk should go and vote for a SADEAST candidate, those are his mumu followers.

Look at this inconsequential Buffon? cheesy cheesy
Who cares about your vote? So it’s no longer PDP or an Igbo Presidency again, It’s now Osinbajo.
The truth is, these overnight supporters of Osinbajo are wolves in sheep clothing. They know that defeating Tinubu at the polls is almost an impossible task. So they prefers an Osinbajo with little or no political tentacles across the country. So it’ll be an easy ride for their sinking party PDP.
