Can we allow the Igbos produce the next president at least for the sake of equity and fairness?

Tinubu and Osibanjo should rescind their decision and support a president from the Igbo extarction.

You know one thing I like about the Northerners? They know they have done their 8years and so it is the South and from the SE. But guess what, they will never push it. They will rather allow SE, SS and SW to slug it out by doing so these 3 region will be fighting themselves without knowing it and then dissafection within the South will deepen. That is the Northern political calculation.

To prove them wrong is for SW and SS who have done 8 and 6 years respectively to come together and support someone from SE so power can go back North and then come back South and by then the SE and SS will support the SW because it will now be their turn.

But of course, even though the SW understand this Northern game, greed and hatred for Igbo will not allow them. They will rather dabaru the whole thing believeing they have the vote of the North.

But this their double standard and way of
impunity against the Igbos will fail them soon and by then it will be too late.
You are senseless... Na fufu full your brain.. You slave for PDP for over 16 years and you Eleribu refused to blame them for your woes, Na Yoruba you dey insult.. Kadafun o.

So why are you insulting the old man if you already know Tinubu or Osibanjo are thesame. Must everyone support Tinubu aspiration. Are we no longer practicing democracy. Please respect the choice of the old man

It's even funny when some clueless people say they prefer Osinbajo as if it really matter to us. Osinbajo or Tinubu, we don't even care, both men equals the same progressive qualities and ideologies, the same progress and development, the same vision, the same competence and dedication.

Tinubu is Osinbajo and Osinbajo is Tinubu, we don't care, we are ok with Tinubu or Osinbajo.

Bro the determinant of Tinubu’s fate will be PDP presidential candidate.

If PDP mistakenly fields Atiku on that ticket, I can assure you that you only have two option.

—Vote Tinubu OR abstain from voting.

Also, if Osinbajo gets the ticket and Tinubu fail to work with him, Osinbajo will be roundly defeated by Atiku. The reason is because to win elections you need political structure and people on ground. Osinbajo has non of those and his only structure is the one Tinubu give to him.

Political success is not only about “I love this candidate and will vote him”, you need both financial power and solid political structure backing you.

—The generals backed OBJ in 1999
—2003 OBJ himself is a deity and he played on Atiku to own all the structures
—2007 Yar’adua used Obasanjo structure
—2011 Jonathan used incumbency and OBJ structure
—2015 Buhari used his own structure and that of Tinubu
—2023 won’t be different. If you don’t have people strong on their own like Buhari, then you need solid political base and alliance to win the presidency
Apt!

I understand you. Most people do not have problem with Osinbajo because Asiwaju has consistently taken the blame for Osinbajo and has acted as shield for him.

—Asiwaju made lot of political enemies in life in his quest for building a formidable political structure that can get the SW bloc to the center. Osinbajo was a political nobody before Asiwaju brought him forward as number 2. Osinbajo is a beneficiary of this while Asiwaju continue to amass political enemies.

—The bullion van issue that people blame Asiwaju for is also because he is the machinery responsible for delivering Buhari/Osinbajo in the West. All he did was for Buhari/Osinbajo to remain in power but you will never see anyone blame Osinbajo for the van and yet he’s one of the beneficiaries.

—If Fulani herdmen strike any state in the SW, people out rightly blame Tinubu and reprimand him for not speaking up. We have Osinbajo a number 2 citizen that have ears in the security architecture not taking any blame. No one blames him because Asiwaju is like his savior that continues to be crucified for his sins.

—The economy is bad currently and you see people blaming Tinubu for bringing Buhari but they never blame Osinbajo who is the number 2 man at the helm of affairs and even supervise those economic council. We all say it was because Buhari did not give him power to operate but we blame Tinubu a man that dosent even have the power Osinbajo had for the same.

All what I’m saying is that Asiwaju has always taken all the bullet for Osinbajo and that is why Osinbajo has less enemies and Asiwaju enemies are in their multitude.

Lastly, I will prefer Asiwaju to give us Fashola or Osinbajo for 2023 presidency but if he insists he wants to contest, I think him and Osinbajo should go head to head at the primaries, anyone that wins will earn our support for the actual election.
Nigerians will choose the next president, not Asiwaju. Also, SW presidency means the president will come from the SW, not that the SW will choose a president for us

Integrity is been straightforward and having the courage of your convictions, doing what you believe is right and not fearing to speak out.

It is sad that Osinbajo has traded his integrity for loyalty to Buhari, not for Nigerians.

There are better people to vote for, than these lots.
So Osinbajo should be attacking and speaking against his boss. That would not be wise. The only time they allowed him to act, he showed the world the stuff he is made of. He was sidelined after that. If not that he applied wisdom and patience, things could have gone worse for him.

The game of politics

The game of politics. They want a weaker opponent. They prefer not to meet Tinubu a dreadful opponent on the field of politics. Politics is like football, Teams prefer weak opponents and they like to penetrate a strong opponent through leaking wing or bad wing.

PDP cannot make a choice until APC has chosen a Presidential candidate.

As I have been saying for several years , Yorubas are very strong. The internal opposition in South West is too strong and Yorubas are the number one enemy of the Yorubas. Other tribes rely on the internal crisis and opposition in South West to weaken the Yorubas. Without that, nobody can withstand the Yorubas.

Abiola was denied his victory which led to his death by combined forces of different group. The Chairman of Arise TV and Thisday Newspaper was one of the persons that felt threatened by MKO's personality thereby leading campaign for the annulment of June 12 election over the cloth Abiola wore to the polling booth for 10 minutes to vote.

Today, Abiola empire has crumbled while his own empire is thriving and Abiola daughter has to use his Platform - Arise TV to express her view - Chief MKO Abiola should be weeping in his grave.

While Abiola empire has crumbled and Thisday empire including Arise TV is thriving, EndSars protesters decided to burn Tinubu's media houses and other investments and some Lagos State government properties using the news disseminated by Arise TV as anchor for the attacks. Yorubas must think.

Yorubas - Tinubu and Osinbajo don't need Pa Edwin Clarke vote or advice on the most suitable candidate. The Yorubas must think.

You argue like a child, I don't have time for argument, I have told you either you like it or not, a South westerner will pick apc ticket, if its not so, you can then quote me after! and I will respect you thereafter the primaries, I am a busy person, and also I like people that see a coin as a two side object, Amaechi ko Amaechi ni! you better go and sit down with your Amaechi stuff, is only a kid that will think a party will be ready to loose a 5 sitting governor to the opposition because of someone that has no electoral value, forget about that stuff that buhari will give him the 12mlion votes in the North, buhari doesn't care, that explains why he raised the the hands of an opposition party candidate in the last election.

You have shown previously an inability to reason objectively because of your emotional investment in the Osinbajo project. So I dont blame you, your heart is tallking. For the record, I didnt say for sure it will be Amaechi, What I said is it makes a lot of sense and a very distinct possibility. Time will tell.

All I will say for now is you overestimate the role and electoral value of the SW block in APC, just like the Ibos overestimate their electoral importance in PDP. For both, there is nowhere else to go, you are not that important if you have nowhere elese to go or vote....dont get it twisted!!!! If it is determined that Amaechi should be the flag bearer, there is nothing anybody the SW can or will do. Are the governors going to decamp to PDP? are you going to vote for PDP? There is the answer to your so called 5 important governors!!!!

I repeat for the record Tinubu is the factor that makes SW the frontrunners for the ticket because of his stature. Tinubu is the Kingmaker not the Sw, he is the one held in high regard by the North not the SW or SW governors. If he is eliminated or drops out, it becomes a free for all in which case there is no guarantee it comes to the SW. Make all the noise you want, if such a scenario develops you will still line up and vote APC because you have nowhere else to go!!!! fact!!! you only have power when you have alternatives, you only threaten when you have options!!!!

You are very wrong. I observed you don't know much about Nigeria. Firstly before I copy and paste my last submission, I will ask you a question , where is Buhari political structures in 2003, 2007 & 2011? In the North, Political power is a Party on his own. It has nothing to do with APC or PDP. Personality is well respected in the North just like in the US. If IBB had openly canvassed for votes for Tofa, I can bet it anywhere, Tofa cannot win MKO in the North. Shehu Yaradua would have been the most suitable opponent to MKO though they were in the same party and his victory at the primary was annulled by IBB. That was the beginning of IBB's dilemma.

Kwankwaso, Tambuwal and others in the North are just waiting for APC, I think Ganduje , Masari and others are also monitoring events. Nobody can inherit any Buhari structures without personality. Jonathan didn't inherit any structures. OBJ singlehandedly begged the Northern power brokers and Traditional rulers to allow Jonathan to rule after Yaradua' s death. I am not sure that can work for Buhari / Osinbajo

Personally i think you’re right Tinubu might be testing the waters and trying to draw attention to himself as regards the presidency and he might have a few tricks up his sleeves that he might reveal later...don’t think he should run it would be better for him to support osinbajo.

Tbh man i honestly don’t care bout thosw politicians I just take a liking to fashola...and as regards south east candidacy and presidency I think your people rocked the boat quite much especially with Kanu Ipob antics and aggression and violence and sort of alienated other tribes and also by constantly championing the campaign of dissolution of the country they didn’t do your potential candidates a lot of good as there’s a level of distrust mostly from the northerners they’re wary of handling power to the Igbos which might be the end of the one Nigerian project and which is a great danger to the northerners especially their politicians and elites!

I’m not a big fan of most of your politicians but I know you’ve got smart and competent ones but I don’t know if the PDP would hand them their ticket and as far as APC is concerned Amaechi would be your best bet and the closest thing to an Igbo presidency.Personally fashola presidency is what is the only thing I’d celebrate I don’t have any issues with an Igbo becoming president I won’t just be that invested in the process but I’d wish your candidates well...same with any other Yoruba contesting I’m not into tribalistic bullshit and ethnic bigotry I’m open minded and see a human and individual before seeing color, race, creed or ethnicity.
